I've been gaming for over 30 years and Outer Wilds has become one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had.

As other people have mentioned, the less you know about the game going in, the better. I went in myself knowing nothing, and during the first portion of the game I wasn't sure if it was for me, but the more I played and explored, the more it reeled me in.

If I could only recommend one video game, it would be this one.

This game is poorly optimized. Calling it "CPU intensive" is an understatement. On a machine that can run other games at max 4K 60FPS, being unable to get beyond 30FPS at 1080p on the lowest possible graphics settings is a joke.

EDIT: Use DXVK to translate DirectX11 to Vulkan for a near 50% performance increase, because that makes total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. Good job, Ubisoft.

At least I can have a playable framerate at 4K max now.

I had my eye on this game a while back as the concept was very interesting, but I wasn't really into the idea of playing this sort of game with strangers. I picked it up with a friend and had a total blast.

There are a lot of complaints about the price, and I understand why because I've seen it in similar scenarios with other games, but I feel like the amount of fun I have with this totally justifies it.

I have not tried matchmaking so I'm not sure how well the game does on that front, but if you have friends who enjoy this sort of game I would highly recommend it.

This is an excellent and highly enjoyable fighter I would recommend to anyone. I've been playing fighting games for roughly 20 years, ever since I got my hands on the PS1 Tekken 3 demo disc, and this is definitely one of my favourites.

Being able to play a fundamentally strong fighter without having to spend ages either studying matchups or committing combos to muscle memory is a godsend, and a fair amount of the technical aspects you'd find in other fighters, such as safejumps, meaty combos, and frame traps are still here. On top of that, the netcode is good enough that you can play reliable games across continents.

Some people feel that $20 is a bit much for a game like this, but I personally feel that the price is more than fair given the amount of enjoyed time I've got from it. I even intend to buy another copy for the Switch once that is released!

Rather short, but very interesting and highly engaging. Ended up completing it twice over in a single sitting.
