Garbage CoD HQ! Unaccpetable behaviour from greedy publishers trying to squeeze their honest customers for their hard earned money! I bought MW2 last year, if I want to play it this year I first have to launch MW3, update MW3, restart MW3, scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu in MW3, relaunch MW2, update MW2, restart MW2, then I can play it until next time I try to launch it... Absolutely ridiculous! And you know the same thing will happen next year with the new CoD, then you're gonna have to launch MW4 and scroll down to launch MW3, and even further this time to get to MW2!

I really wanted to like this game, but it has major flaws that just enrages me too much.

I would say the game is very good up until you get to tier 3 in a mission. For the first few missions you do not get there at all, so at that point the game is great! There are a few issues all along, but you don't notice them much until tier 3. And I thought that maybe I could work around the issues or get used to them. But as the game progresses you're obviously gonna spend more and more time on tier 3 in missions, which would also be great had the game worked at that stage.

Once you get to tier 3 in a mission the transportation of goods just falls completely apart. At this point in the game you have to gather resources from all around the map to certain factories. The problem is that a lot of the time it just will not transport goods over larger distances. So what happens is that your factory will stop producing awaiting more resources, while the under factories that are supposed to produce those resources sit idle because their outgoing demand is not met.

Then there was the issue of where the buildings should request resources from. If the closest building is 1 second away from being available (which is OFTEN the case as you have multiple buildings requesting from the same place). Then it will request the resource from the next one which could be half the map away (instead of 1 in-game day, it could be 60+), which in turn would clog the roads and cause delays for everything. It will not change once it has requested, it will wait for those 60+ days unless you manually cancel it. You can kind of prevent this from happening by blacklisting resources on road nodes, but that has other issues. At that point you lose control over your resources in that "district", the game only tells you your total. The only way to find out would be to just watch it and see if they need anything, if not then maybe you can expand? Would just have to try and see. So I wish you could set up districts to manage this.

Another problem is that the game does not allow you to set trains and boats to transport a specific resource, you can only restrict that to the harbor itself or the factories, which again is a very clunky system. Let's say you want to whitelist 10 locations, you have to click on a plus, find the building, click it, scroll down and click the plus again to then find the next building. Instead of just clicking the plus and then select all the buildings and finish.

Now trains are another topic. You get them in late game at which point all your land is already populated and your transportation is already set up. Trains require lots of space, they do not go over roads (only 90 degrees, but not always) or buildings, you need to make space for them, which requires a lot of work for little gain. considering most maps are pretty small.

Storage loop was another one. If you did not set up blacklists and whitelists and update them constantly, then you could end up with your goods just being moved around in a loop. And other times as I've already mentioned, they would not move the goods regardless what you do. Infuriating!

Lastly the name, due to the name being so common it's really hard to google things you're struggling with or wondering about, you just will not find anything.

If you enjoy a healthy dose of dopamins with your friends, this is the game for you. The amount of content this game has is ridiculous. 25 hours in and I'm maybe 2/3 of the way through the missions, and it's just getting harder by the mission, so the last 1/3 is probably gonna take just as long as the rest. Not to mention that you get so many unlocks to buy that you end up redoing missions to get the materials you need for your upgrade. And redoing them to get them on a faster time for extra bonuses, or doing the side objectives.

One thing I'm not such a fan of is the reuse of the same maps. There's just too many missions happening on the same map, some of them are pretty much equal to the previous one. There's also some issues with desyncing on coop, forcing you to remake the server.

Over all though this is sweet game for the price with tons of content. Don't know if I'd recommend it for solo, but it's definitely fun in coop.
