Just been trying this game and was wondering why Robots need houses and Food...

I place it and connect it to my road network but then it does nothing. how do i make it work? (yes there is fishing spots in my territory and in the same body of water as it)

The game won't let me place a 2nd chocolate monument because the "maximum amount reached" after placing and building the 1st. It seems that others have been able to complete the frontier challenge, so I'm not sure why I can't.

Why the heck are there small updates every few days that literally do nothing? These small "updates" are not even listed in the update list. Is this done to keep the game artificially fresh, or what is the sense behind this? I have never seen such behavior in any other game....
