Amazing game. A real prequel updated with a modern engine. Everything you'd expect from Valve if this was a Valve game.

If you like Minecraft you'll love this game. It's better than Minecraft in my opinion, it's more polished. Minecraft has plenty of things going for it that this game doesn't though such as mod support and you can do a lot more with redstone. I'd love to see this game take wiring to a new level. If you're a redstone junkie then this isn't as good as Minecraft, yet. As a survival based creative block building game yeah I'd play this over vanilla minecraft any day.

Thousands of animated wallpapers available through steam workshop. Stable program. Plenty of customization options. Worth every penny.

Fallout 3 story was better. Settlements get in the way of the story to the point you'll hate baby sitting them instead of playing the story. Some keys are hard coded and cannot be rebound. Bugs galore. My Pipboy disappeared permanently at one point and had to research console commands to get it back. You don't have to work for Power Armor it's basically given to you from the beginning of the game and power cores are everywhere in trader shops. Value of power armor diminished greatly from previous Fallout games. Story is medicore, everything about this game is mediocre except it doesn't crash every 10 mins like Fallout 3. Very stable compared to Fallout 3. Is it better than Fallout 3 NO. Is it better than New Vegas? NO. This title was so overhyped for how bad it actually is. It's almost boring and unenjoyable how much time you have to waste doing menial tasks that have no meaning to the game. They threw in tons of features and extras and skipped right over making this a satisfying story mode experience. Falls short of being a good Fallout game. Could have been pretty good if they had a better game plan for delivering a satisfying story. I've spent about 120 hours in the Commonwealth and most of it was boring, repeattive, monotonous, tedious, and at times frustrating to play due to multiple bugs. Gonna have to give this a thumbs down, I cannot recommend this game to my friends as being a satisfying expeirence, it's a huge unsatisfying waste of time.

About 80-90 hours of game play that includes missions, heists, car jackings, parachuting, driving, flying, bicyling, and of course shooting during all of that. Customize your vehicle and personal appearance. This game is longer than Fallout 3 and filled with adrenaline pumping missions that will leave you craving for more by the end of the game. Even after the story mode ends you can still finish all side-quests and other missions. The story mode does end but the single player campaign will last you for as long as you want after the story mode completes. It's not particularly one of the best games I've ever played but it definitely gives you the value of your purchase in hours played from the $60 debut price tag. Worth $60? Yes. It's only 1 of two games that I think have ever actually been worth that price. The other being Fallout 3 w/all DLC's.

It's rare that a sequel is far superior to the original. This is like the jump in quality from Call of Duty 1 to Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Everything about Crysis 2 is better than the original. The weapons, acting, enemy AI, plot, graphics, menus, you name it. Top notch AAA caliber release. Extremely impressive. There are very few games that are worth the high asking price during launch. Crysis 2 is the exception to the rule and worth every penny. It's a masterpiece.

Waited 7 years for this to be cheap enough to afford. This was truly an amazing experience with destructive environments, vehicles, and weapons. The plot was great but the voice acting was really slow at times. If it wasn't for the destructive environment and superb graphics this would have been an average game.

4-player cooperative game similar to Left 4 Dead. It's a great game that has a learning curve. Part of the fun is learning how to get better at stealth and robbing banks without setting off alarms. Once you reach about level 30 you start understanding that this game gets really boring quickly and it's dependent on the hapless skills of teammates. There's a TON of hacks for this game which is the primary reason why I'll never play it again. Instead of banning hackers they are allowed to continue playing the game with a "CHEATER" tag above their head. It's completely ruined the game to play with those cheaters as they screw up games and illegitimize earnings and rewards. I'll never play this game again. The massive rampant cheating killed it for me.

This is basically STALKER 3. It still falls short of being the best in the series. The plot and gameplay are definitely better than Clear Sky but not as good as the original Shadow of Chernobyl. This could have been the best in the series if the ending of the game was better. It's anti-climactic to say the least. That's not to take away from the definite improvements from STALKER 1 and 2. The menu system, artifact system, weapon binds, and graphics all are a great improvement. The plot and faction interactions are bland and devoid of enthusiasm like the original. Yes this is definitely worth adding to your collection if you enjoyed the original just don't expect it to be better than the original.

Original classic properly updated and improved. Odd combination of old graphics and new graphics on a new engine. It works very well. Gameplay is reminiscent of the original Wolfenstein or Duke Nukem. Rise of the Triad is definitely not for people looking for a new game but one that takes you back to the beginning of the FPS genre. It's just sad to see this game never evolve into something original. This was the CoD clone of it's day. It was just a generic combination version of other games that doesn't really give it an identity to call it's own. It's still a good game but nothing worth writing home about. Such has been the story of Rise of the Triad for its entire life. In some ways it excels in it's own mediocrity because here we are 30 years later still talking about how solid of a mediocre game it is.
