Love Civ V, this was a waste of money. Everything is just worse. Great soundtrack though.

My current favourite game

First bad review I have posted for a game...

Great game but completely unplayable due to crashes every 20-30 minutes.
Tried every fix but still broken.
Don't waste money on this.

+Great story, game is well writen with memorable characters
+Varied and well done quests
+Very replayable, you can't do everything on a single playthrough
+Large open world filled with content
+Player choices have an impact, small actions can change the course of your entire story
+Factions are well done and offer unique experiences depending on who you side with
+An RPG on par with Morrowind and Oblivion

-World is more linear than Fallout 3 and slightly less fun to explore, also not much environmental variety
-Easy to exploit, high intelligence/luck make the game too easy

10/10 so good that I paid <15 bucks for this and feel like I owe Obsidian more money but whatever Ave true to Caesar

+Huge open world that isnt empty
+Decent story
+Solid RPG
+Combat better than previous games
+Crafting is great
+Graphics are nice
+Better sense of progression than oblivion, scaled leveling fixed

As per Bethesda tradition for everything they add something is taken away...
-Removal of Attributes in favour is simple Health/Magic/Stamina boost upon levelup
-Magic is garbage compared to past Elder Scrolls, severely unbalanced and spellmaking is gone
-Quests are very dull and usually consist of clearing caves of generic skeleton enemies
-World is not as vibrant or varied as Oblivion or Morrowind, literally half the land is plain snow (why did Bethesda pick Skyrim over Valenwood?)

8.5/10 Great Adventure/RPG, but still Morrowind/Obivions stripped down/simplified younger brother

+Way better combat than Fallout 3/New Vegas
+Nice graphics
+Decent story
+Power armor is awesome
+Crafting is well done and a lot better than NV
+Lots of mods

-Way less of an RPG than previous games, NV is still much better in many ways
-Removal of skills (Why?) that have been a staple of past Bethesda games
-Very simple, more of an FPS than an RPG, doesnt allow for many different playstyles
-Voiced protagonist, if you want to roleplay anything other than a generic niceguy ♥♥♥♥♥ then tough luck
-Intro is too long and you have to redo it if you want to make a new character with a different gender

7.5/10 Really fun and solid game..... but once this wears off ill be back to New Vegas

+Massive open world
+Interesting and well done quests
+Beatiful environments
+Extreme replayability, lots of content
+Interesting world lore, and there is like 50 tonnes of it
+M'aiq the liar

-Combat is sub-par
-Scaled leveling removes the sense of progression, why level up if enemies suddenly become OP

On all platforms ive got a total playtime of like 1000+ hours, 9.5/10 would ruin social life again

+Can blow a lot of stuff up and the effects are cool
+Lots of guns/vehicles
+HUGE open world
+Semi-cartoonish art style will hold up for a long time, also pretty easy to run
+In a nutshell is a GTA with less story and better gameplay
+Decent mod selection

-Story is sub-par, really didnt care for it
-Not much else to do besides FSU, game is a mile wide but only a couple inches deep, world feels a bit empty

9/10 tropical esplosion simulator

+Harvest Moon
+Addicting
+Lots of different playstyles, great RPG
+Lots of waifus to choose from (Leah is undisputed #1 tho lets be real)
+A lot of customization for your farm
+Very charming old school vibe
+Combat element is pretty good

-Takes a long time to make progress
-Hard to find specific NPCs and figure out their likes/dislikes without some kind of wiki
-There is a huge waifu gap between Leah and the other rabble, better waifus should be added
