Update 3.0 (Recommended) The game has lost most of it's player base but the few that hold out now control the flow of Spice and life is good.

Update 2.5 (Recommended) servers have been stable for me even in the DD. A glimmer of hope shines on Shai Hulud...

Update 2.0 (Not Recommended): DD servers are at a free fall with vehicles and resources lost daily and hackers roaming the sands freely. PVE areas seem more stable for the 5 people there except for the occasional lag spike here and there.

Original Review (Not Recommended): Battleye anti cheat is crap. It will give you the FG3 error and kick you every 10 minutes. Just like in Conan, so until it is fixed I cannot recommend this game. Battleye, more like Battlcrap. Kernal level anti crap from anti funcom...It's a shame because I do enjoy the game but getting kicked every 10 minutes blocks you from doing anything. After being kicked you remain ingame for 30 seconds which can cost you your life, resources, and vehicles. If this is fixed I will update my review.

In the beginning I was not feeling it, but it grew on me like a wart that then became my little gaming buddy. I just love this little guy and no he can't have my money...

Cool game to play with friends and learn about Freedom and Democracy.

- Dice reveals they are working on some cutting edge technology for the next update months from now. They announced they are working on a large board that records and displays the scores of players for everyone to see. They are calling it a "Scoreboard". This could be the update that turns everything around for BF2042. All we can do is wait, and then wait some more, and see what happens...

Update: 10/4/2022
- AI have taken over the servers! AI have officially disabled all levolution on new maps and created some ingame storefront selling battlepasses for lame skin packs. The few remaining humans must fight for survival against the inevitable...
