The only real issue i have with the DLC is the lack of original designs for over-world enemies. You will face a lot of similar enemies to the ones you find in the base game.

That being said it’s only a very minor complaint in the grand scheme of the DLC.

Most studios release DLC with only a third of the content and charge half the price of this DLC.

The bosses are difficult but I never felt like it was extremely unfair. Most of the time I chalked up my own failures to exactly that. My own failures. Not the AI, boss mechanics, unfair hitboxes, etc.

The world design is gorgeous and FromSoft has once again spoiled us with creating such a magical and hauntingly beautiful world.

I unfortunately was usually too busy getting my ass kicked to listen to the music in the game, but from the bits and pieces that trickled into my brain during spouts of sanity I enjoyed it.

I recommend if you enjoy the series then definitely pick this up.

If you feel it is too hard I recommend taking time to master the parry mechanic.

I felt like I needed to write a review to help others, and clear up an issue people have with the game. First off the game is wondedrful and unique. I love how the developers wanted to capture the essence of human error in the game with both surviving and hunting. As of right now you can play with friends in a private lobby, and not recieve experience, but the devs. have said they are going to add a party system where you and friends can play together in public matches. They just didn't want it on release, and now I am not entirely sure why they would do this, but I am assuming it is because they don't want a premade team of survivors playing against a new killer and then winning by a landslide. They may also want to get the community more willing to talk and communicate with randoms, who knows. So for those who have decided that you will never get this game if you can't play with friends you WILL be able to, just...not right now.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. This game has taught me how to understand the economy, to love hats, and most of all teamwork is essential for victory. If you enjoy great games then i recommend a download.

This is a game that is only a little scary, but if you are brave you can download things from the workshop. Then the game becomes super spoopy, have fun screaming, crying, and silently singing "I'm a Goofy Goober" in a corner
