The incredible cast of voice actors, the amazing writing and dramatic storytelling perfectly mixed with light hearted comic relief, the involvement of the management portion of the game... It is beautiful. Honestly the management portion of the game could be a whole game in itself. The interactive visual novel that unfolds in front of you alongside could also be its own game completely and each game would stand on merit. There were a lot of reviews that came out after only 2 episodes had been released that claimed that choices don't matter. As the season unfolded those reviews have become completely obsolete. If you enjoy visual novel type games and you like the show "Invincible" and "Vox Machina" then you will absolutely adore the experience that this game provides. My goodness! I almost forgot to mention the music... how could I forget. This really is just a cinematic masterpiece of a visual novel type game with an amazing management game mixed in. You can tell the people that worked on this project absolutely love what they do and I hope that we get more from this team soon. I can't wait for season 2!! Thank you all who participated in making this. I enjoyed, and am still enjoying on my 3rd playthrough, the heck out of this. Stay classy gamers!

Crazy addictive game loop (accidental pun). I hate saying that it is impressive for one guy, because this game is impressive regardless of the size of team. I have played it a ton and I still see videos where someone does something in their own playthrough that I never even thought to try... and it works! It has an impact.

Smashing ATM's with a baseball bat... physical appearance changes and mutations from the various effects on drugs (temporary of course)... pickpocketing the drugs that you JUST sold to every customer.

Hang in there, just a bit more: The sound and feel of the interactions in the game are spot on.

Every action is just complex enough and yet simple and satisfying. The audio and visual cues create an amazing experience for even the menial tasks, if you can even call them that, in the game. There are a few minor bugs, like workers getting stuck, but nothing that a quick save and restart doesn't fix. You can tell that the developer really loves this game and played it a ton themselves throughout the creation process.

Super fun. Super enjoyable! I am crazy excited to see what comes from this developer in the future.

I waited to put a positive review until release and to check the pace of patching. The only issues with this game are bugs and they are smashing them daily. That being said it is incredibly fun in its current state. I am very excited to see what the future looks like for this game.

Unfortunately we have to wait for any kind of campaign mode, but I actually believe the devs when they say they will add it. Modding potential is amazing as well too. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for modded assets and missions.

I have been waiting for this to release for a long time. There are bugs of course just like any other early access game, but they are being addressed quickly. There have been 2 patches just in the few days I have had the game that have addressed major balancing and bug issues. It is a fun and enjoyable game already and it will only continue to get better. Pick your hometown and try to survive!

This game is incredibly entertaining so far. I am 7 hours in (started over after learning a bit about the game) and am loving it! The only "complaint" I have so far, which is more of an admiration.. is that there are a lot of things I wish I could do but can't. I don't see that as a negative though. I just see that as a game that is incredibly fun and entertaining as it is now with the potential for awesome updates and/or a mind over magic 2 in our future someday. If you enjoy games like "Craft the World" and "Oxygen Not Included" with a taste of a game that I can't remember the name of... I think it was called sorcerers academy or something like that. Also a little of Noble Fates and Rimworld...ish type elements. It is great as is right now, but I am STOKED to see what this could turn into.


PS. Zoom in on occasion when playing cause the artwork is amazing!

Reasons for poor review:
Poor performance and balancing for a game under 7 years of development and updates
Prices of DLC upon release as well as communications about DLC have been terrible
Lack of QOL updates vs additional content releases
Recent lies from the companies involved (Wildcard/Snail Games) about price of the UE5 port

*If you are not already into Ark then I would highly recommend you keep playing other games, this is a mess*

Super fun and addicting. I can't wait to see what the future updates will bring. Basically Raft in space, but there is much more to it than that. I am currently building my first astronaut colony on a planetoid that I docked with and its awesome!

Absolutely lovin it! If you like games like Rimworld then you will love this one. I can't wait to see what they do with it as it develops to full release!

Phenomenal RPG with 4X aspects. I am really enjoying this game so far. It is fun, challenging (although there is an easy difficulty setting), and the story is great! The fact that your choices ACTUALLY make a big difference is amazing. I definitely recommend this game.
