Early Access Review
This game is almost good. The spawn rate for enemies is way too high, there's enemies that wander around the map for ages before you're able to defeat them because they spawn in too soon, and the first map in Survivors mode is way too cramped. A minimap would go a long way from constantly being attacked by hoards of enemies spawning behind you. Having to reload the peashooters you get at the beginning of the game is absolutely ridiculous, also. Most people are going to be turned off from this game, simply because of these things.

If you want a challenging early era SNES/Super Famicom style action platformer, this is the game for you. It draws a lot of inspiration from the Valis games, but has its own unique twist. This game isn’t for everyone, but if you’re into this style of game, it is a lot of fun. You can tell that a lot of passion went into making this feel like an authentic experience from that time. Would love if there were scanline and color options to make it look more retro.

I’m so glad I got to play this game, even if it is at the end of it’s support. People are still having genuine fun with the game, and you can generally find a full game any time you log on.

Oh yeah, it works flawlessly on The Steam Deck with Proton 6.3-8 and make sure to download the custom controller mappings so you can use voice.

Really fun and addictive multiplayer. I got a four pack on sale for under $2 and immediately played it for hours with a friend. I can see it getting a little repetative in the long run, but there's enough things thrown in to keep if fresh while I played, and it's still making want to come back for more. The wave-based gameplay is broken up with little dungeons and puzzles, loot management, unlockables and such. It's a huge game with lots of content. If you're into twin stick shooters and Rogue-likes, this is for you. It feels almost like an easier, longer, multiplayer version of Binding of Isaac's Greed Mode.

As you can see, i've put over a hundred hours into this game. it's very challenging, and fun. Earning the achievments and unlockables is very satisfying, as is every successful playthrough.

The most gripping platform game I have ever played, my only complaint is that I wish it would never end. Every puzzle gives you a feeling of accomplishment and although there is no dialogue in the game you feel the for the character and get engrossed in the world that you're playing in. This is as much of a piece of art as it is a fantastic game. I cannot reccomend it more.

Beautiful, challenging, and incredibly fun. If you like oldschool SCHMUPs, this game is a must have.
