Long time player here. Had played on Windows. Then when I ditched Windows, I was overjoyed to see this on Steam - thinking that I could play it on Linux. I cannot. I've been playing on Android for months, waiting for this version to not crash after character selection screen. It still crash at time of posting this.

So, I cannot recommend Steam version. It crashes on Linux. If you are on Windows, there is a Windows client on their site.

I had been playing since Evangelion collab. Got all of the characters. Sad to drop the game, but playing on Android just doesn't cut it. Playing on PC is the way to go. A shame it doesn't run on Linux. Crash after character selecting screen.

I've played Blue Archive on Android for a while and dropped it for something else. Good cozy cute gacha game. Now, I'm returning to it on the merit that it is the only well-performing gacha game on Linux (with Proton). It is a fun game I'll keep playing in place of all others I'll soon drop because they don't run on Linux.

Amazing game. Began from simple concept. Would it be fun to have zombie apocalypse happened at home?
Heck yeah. The team took the idea and boy do they run with it.

Have been playing for a bit. It's a good fun game, BUT I came in with a different expectation and it gave me a strange vibe. It made me realize how much Rimworld has come. This game has a long way to go.

So, if you want to buy, should you? This is my checklist.
If you like Rimworld
If you like Stronghold
If you think Rimworld is too techy
If you think Stronghold is too RTSsy
This is the game for you.

The strong suit of this game is 3D building system which is great and robust. Combat is quite fine. Colony management is like Rimworld, but there are a lot of things that Rimworld has added but this one hasn't. Your people can't have kids, for example. This is something you will realize very quickly when you begin playing and kinda expect it to be a feature. Since no kid is involved, it doesn't matter if your colonists are male or female because they can't make babies. It's not that big of a deal, but for a medieval setting, it is kinda lacking for now. That issue aside, the game is fun and expansive. It's good.

Good game whether or not you're an Alien fan or not, with a small caveat.
The issue is bug. If you're running old platform, sound might not work right. The gameplay itself is great for an Alien game. As of writing this, I've only been through the first map at normal difficulties. I'd say playing at normal is challenging enough.

In this game you play as a group of survivors. Game started off with female administrator, as tradition of Alien after Ripley, but that's only in tutorial. The actual game you will control several marines. Each with their flaws, but not gifts, so expect to lead a squad of undisciplined cowards with bad mouth and bad luck into the den of Xenomorpth. See why normal difficulty is hard enough? Not yet? Well, these gitz can get injured, tired, and got mental trauma too. Each debuff reduce their effectiveness, maybe individually or team or both. This is something I find frustrating, but it's an Alien game so I just accept that they gonna quite lose their minds a bit. They can still fight.

And with that you will lead them. Swap marines to keep missions going, all the while racing against time of planet infestation. Each deployment allows you to explore the haunting setting with Xenos crawling all over. You can avoid them, avoid the hive altogether by stealthing around. Not always possible but it is somewhat doable. This open between stealth and fighting create tense gameplay, the kind that Alien game should have.

If I'd criticize, I'd say I don't know any of the marines. They all have names, faces, traits, but I don't have situation that get to know them individually. I wish the first batch should be handcrafted with permanent name and trait and banter. If that's the thing, this will be a throwback to the memorable casts of Aliens. As it is, even as I don't know them, I do remember some of them by their ability and flaws. It doesn't remove anything from the game, but it is a clear void where it can shine even brighter.

I'm bad with horror game, and this one is just horror enough, action enough, tactical enough, and overall fun enough for me to give a thumb up. I'd say this is 4/5 stars. It is fun. It is a great game, but you have to admit that it's not comparable to some massive massive game that stand on their own IP. This one is as good as an Alien game supposed to be.

This game is amazing. It's an RPG with turn-base tactic combat. Nothing fancy at first glance, but it's done well.

The most pleasing nature of this game is the lines are all voice-acted and done so well. Characters and places names are pronounced in latin. The cultural differences are shown and the game doesn't shy away from showing conflicts of the time. Not much of the "modern audience" shenanigans so far. I only play as male so I'd love to see how difficult it will be if choose to play as female. If it'd make the game harder, that'd be even more amazing.

The game is not fancy, as said. There are 4 classes with 3 subclasses. Some weapons and armors appropriate to the theater where we find them. Characters are greatly written. Plot progress well and I'm excited to play more. So far, this is a great game.

Bought this game on beta. To be honest, I come in by curiosity. I mean, how degen can this be? Played an hour of the game and it's quite nice. The fact that you can do these things, and choose to do or not to do, says more about the player than the game.

The game play is like this. You play two characters which aren't that different on gameplay - but probably different on H stuff if you choose to engage. There is Yuna, and Man. Yes. The name is Man. You both shipwrecked and friends abducted. Now survive. The graphic is as shown. The game looks janky, but I haven't found a bug so far. You collect stuffs, craft stuffs, fight native raids, and try to build your little camp. Quite interesting if you like craft survival with unique graphic.

Cons of the game are - it has basically no BGM except the opening. Right now at 0.0.x it's very barebone. No tutorial, so get in there and struggle. UI is not as streamline to use as it should, but it works.

Pros of the game is it seems to prepare itself for mod support. This is very interesting because the map seems huge and there can be a lot of expansion for it.

With my limited time in it, I like it. I like the freedom and the choice. I respect the bravery to make such a game with such a bold design. I like to explore and build. Come to see the lewd. Spend an hour building a camp to grow carrot.

Playing this game and I learn to eat dinner left-handed. Why? Because I can play the game with just my mouse. It is fun enough to play during dinner. I've only finished the tutorial and I like it so far. Anime style avatars, VN story telling, and tactical JRPG gameplay is a nice classic mix.

What surprised me and get a while to get used to is Chinese dub. I understand that dev is probably not have fund to hire VA. It's a smart decision if it bring the game to ship, but still an eh? moment from a player like me. Apart from that eh? moment, I think it is a sweet enough game for a relaxing evening that you just want to relax.

Having it for years. Played a while and dropped. This is one of the good Far Cry. Pagan is the 2nd best villian in my Far Cry experience, right after Vaas. Still worth playing in 2023. Not many forced kidnapping like in 5. Guns are different to shoot, unlike in 5.

TLDR; Horror house simulator with Hololive crew

Hololive fans has to play it. It's mandatory. You'd never get Sora to be that creepy, nor get Korone angry enough to push you down. So far you can only get that from this game.

It's a horror house filled with creepy stuff. You cannot run. There are multiple jumpscares you know are coming. The game demonstrate how NOT to close your door in a hotel. The player seems to never engage the lock, which in a horror game annoys me to no end.

As I play the game, it does not scare me, but it does creep me out a few times. I think this game is basically a visual novel you walk into. It is a good game to play as you eat something because you can just walk straight for most of the game. Nothing threaten your life, so you can enjoy the food and listen to creepy sounds. Any real fear you have will be dispelled when you see the ghostly silhouette but you remember them all by their first name, so even if you're not good with horror, you will manage this one easily.
