The best CRPG of all time and a great introduction to the genre and to Dungeons and Dragons
Story, immersion, game-play and everything else 10/10 !

A bullet hell game with the twist being you are the source of the bullets and the hell is the waves of monsters your bullets have to kill while you dodge them all
Throw in some of the usual rogue lite elements and you have both a simple and deceptively complex game
An absolute gem!

Not only is this the best BATTLETECH game ever made outside of the tabletop realm, but the developers have basically opened it up to modders and there are now a plethora of mods which tweak or outright change the game for the better.
I have over 2200 hours in this game and probably 22 of those are playing the base game. Not that there is anything wrong with the base game....
This game and its community are the gift that keeps giving BATTLETECH to fans.
if you have never heard of BATTLETECH but like big stompy robots that you can customise and wreak mayhem with - or even if you just like turn-based tactical/strategy games - I Highly recommend this game.

This game is an absolute must if you are a fan of zombies & RTS. There's also an element of tower defense to this and the depth and planning that goes into ensuring you are not consumed by the hordes is enough to keep you coming back endlessly. The campaign is challenging and fun, but the true test lies in the free build survival games. Pray for a defensible start away from the larger concentration of zombies and then slowly start clearing them out and walling off choke points as you tech up and turtle-in for the final assault.

Home world was THE 3D space RTS game. It defined the genre back in 1999
Fantastic gameplay aside, the story and music made drew you in like few other games
It's great that they have rematered it, just a shame Ctatclysm couldnt be part of the collection - maybe someday

I have owned this game since 2012 and keep coming back. The replayability of this little gem is beyond belief!
I love it so much I even bought the web-based Humblebundle version so I could play it on my phone

You control a space ship and it's crew, each playthrough you fly through a unique procedurally generated universe fighting pirates & invaders, helping refugees and completing quests. All the while upgrading your ship and expanding your crew

Equip your ship with better shields and weapons, upgrade your facilities, cargo calpabilities, and just about everything else along your journey

All just to meet your ultimate demise at the hands of a vastly superior or often just very lucky foe and then roll a new game and start from scratch

A masterpiece!
