Honestly after taking years to finally getting around to playing this game, I don't understand most of the hate this game gets. The gameplay loop is one of the most fun the series has to offer outside of FNAF 6 for me, Locating a single threat and preventing him from getting to you by leading him elsewhere is really fun, and Springtrap is one of the best horror villains of all time.

There are some things I don't like however. I don't like the phantoms in terms of design or gameplay implementation (especially Phantom Freddy and Phantom Foxy...) and yes the jumpscare is pretty ♥♥♥♥.

Another thing I do like however is the lore and minigames, it's superb. The minigame graphics are very well done and all the cryptic secrets are really neat.

Overall from all the ones I've played so far personally (1, 2, 3, SL, and Pizza Sim) I'd put this one as my 3rd favorite behind 1 and Pizza Sim. Heavily misunderstood game ruined in public perspective only by a weak jumpscare and being "boring"
