Pretty cool game, well appreciated if you view it as a precursor to Amnesia. The enemy AI is predictable but the game has its moments, especially during scripted chases and spider sections. I also found specific facts about the story horrifying in a psychological way. Especially (end of game spoiler) Having to incinerate Red and then learn that he was ONLY 14 when he arrived at the mines

I also found the story fascinating and enjoyed reading through the documents. They all felt vaguely relevant to what I was encountering, so it was nice to read through - although getting a bigger picture is hard. The game also sets up the second one quite well (although I have yet to play it).
