Something this low price and with this high of a review score might seem like it's too good to be true. Trust me when I say this: this game is absolutely as good as the review scores make it out to be.

As of this review, updates and patches still roll out at a decent rate. Will likely circle back to update this review when the full release eventually comes out. But for now? Buy it.

A lot of people call this a standalone expansion for The New Order which is . . . sort of true? It's moreso a fast-paced jaunt through the Wolfenstein series' roots thanks to its premise of infiltrating a gorgeously (re)designed Castle Wolfenstein that makes the most of admittedly dated technology (the game uses the iD Tech 5 engine, not the iD Tech 6 engine that DOOM 2016 uses).

I adored this from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Despite being an Early Access title, this game has a lot of content and personality. Considering this is one of hundreds of deckbuilding rougelikes out there, it's quite an accomplishment that this game stands out in a good way. Has tons of potential.

Aaaaaaand now that the full release is out, nothing I said before has changed. Still a solid recommend from me. One thing I do wish they'd consider is difficulty scaling that allows you to better fight different factions in any order you like (you CAN start fighting factions like Jade Staff if you've unlocked their missions, but you're kind of hamstringing yourself since the difficulty does not adjust itself accordingly).

Fantastic RPG with a great dungeon crawling aspect. Character skill customization is also a nice touch that adds tons of strategic options. More people really need to try this game.

Also, a huge performance update patch for an already great game? Yes please!

A classic in the truest sense and potentially one of my favorite games from its era. It's actually pretty hard at later stages, especially if you're playing it blind.

People have clocked in 100+ hours on this game, and for good reasons. For a game with a simple concept, it quickly becomes one of the most addictive experiences out there. This game is hard. You will lose a LOT, but like a slot machine, you'll just want to play it over and over again to see if you can win.

Definitely recommended, even when you lose, you still have a blast playing it. The Captain's Edition mod is also incredible, and well worth it after beating the normal game a few times.

I attached fireworks and thrusters to a toilet and an airplane that I stuck together, activated the thrusters and blew the fireworks at the same time, and made my game crash.

Ridiculously fun, loads of add-on content, insane replayability, there's just so much i love about this game
