It's more Hollow Knight, with everything that entails. You have to buy maps and equip a compass (at the expense of some other tool), checkpoints are sparse (and sometimes you need to pay money to activate one), you lose your money on death (but can retrieve it, provided you don't die again on the way). No difficulty settings, no hand holding. It's great that games like this are still being made in 2025.
