Usually I'm not really into World War 2 games. However this game gave me a fresh experience.

Memorable campaign with epic background music and remarkable characters. Graphics maybe a bit outdated but still beautiful even based on today's standard.

It's a Treyarch game so the control maybe a little bit clunky comparing to the previous installment COD4 but it's understandable 'cause the developer may want to take a realistic approach and reflect the difficulties in a real war.

I heard the newer WW2 and Vanguard are total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comparing to this game. It's a shame that Activision no longer publishes games with good quality but instead spamming the title of this old franchise with mediocre content.

Interesting storyline. Reveals the horror of war - people rounding up on each other despite being the same nationality, damages to local civilians and insane mental burden during and after the battle. Besides, throughout the campaign, you have to make tough choices, the outcome is more or less the same but at least you can receive different reaction.

The only downside is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ janky control. Probably because it was directly transferred to PC platform from console.

Nevertheless, 10/10 definitely worth a shot, especially game developers nowadays only focus on multiplayer experience instead of a decent singleplayer.

Unique characters with their own personalities. Variety of builds to suit your play style. Goosebumping matchpoint music.

Yeah I don't see why Overwatch has much more attention than this piece of gold.

Honestly, it's not a bad game. It offers stunning graphics, plus it runs smoothly even on my low-end computer. In game you can perform a lot of flashy actions, like slicing enemies with your sword, dodging or deflecting bullets. Generally, the gameplay is fluid.

Really need to praise the developer for merging the elements of ancient Chinese culture into the game as well. Most of the scenes took place at Chinese temples, villages or plazas. Even the enemies' appearances are based on traditional Chinese warriors and spirits. It's not common to see similar designs in other games.

Overall, judging from the fact that it's a solo work, there's nothing much we can complain about.

Just to point out that there're quite a number of flaws mainly related to "unfair" scenarios where you successfully counter enemies' attack and you still can't launch them into the air despite tutorial message, making it super unfun especially in "Revenge" or "Hell" mode. I suppose this game should have offered some counter-play mechanism instead of just dodging around like a ♥♥♥♥♥.

But still, it worth a try. Props to FYQD Studio.

A pretty enjoyable visual novel. Well-written story with occasional plot twists which caught me off-guard at some point (and reminded me of Doki-Doki Literature Club vibes). The ending was a bit cliché but still not bad at all. Likable characters with independent characteristics which make each of them remarkable. Great CGs and soothing BGMs which need much appreciation from us especially for an indie game.

Definitely worth a shot.

As an indie and free-of-charge game, I must say it's a masterpiece.

The story is unexpected, unpredictable. It gives motivation for players to run the game again and again.

The game is tagged as "psychological horror" and I can assure you that the tag is 200% accurate. Actually it freaked me out in several unexpected occasions.

Ah and the CGs are great too despite the fact that no price is imposed on the game.

10/10. Just give it a try.

I hate to give negative comment to a game as I always want to be encouraging, but this one hits my bottom line.
The control is way too chunky and the camera keeps moving all the time. I thought I was controlling Rosie O'Donnell instead of Lara Croft.
I can't play it any further as I was about to puke with such dizzy control.

Campaign:
A classic. It shall always be a classic. I mean it WILL always be a classic. Can't forget the mission in Chernobyl......

Multiplayer:
Haven't tried it but the fact that it's still highly active after being released for 10 years suggests it is a great experience.

Others:
Just buy it. 10/10.

Campaign:
Same as the previous one, great story. Memorable characters and missions. It's got almost everything from MW2. If you like MW2 you'll definitely like this too. However, I think there're too many missions taking place in urban areas, mostly European big cities, while in MW2 there's a variety in environment.

Multiplayer:
I really appreciate that developers notice noob-tubing in MW2 is way too overpowered and it brings the game to low skill-capped junk. There're a lot of nerfs to tubes and also other explosive weapons. In short they're much harder to one-shot kill someone in this game. Better user interference which now you can see the progress of leveling up your weapons. However, as mentioned above in campaign too many maps are located in urban areas and there are relatively smaller and more congested comparing to MW2. And for me, as a guy who loves using a ghillie suit to blend in the environment, this tactic is no longer viable in this game. And recently the developers messed up the matchmaking so even when there're a lot of players you still need to take a long time to wait for a lobby.

Others:
Less innovation comparing to MW2 stepping up from MW. It feels way too similar to MW2 that's why a lot of people blamed it on the day it was released. But doesn't it mean the good points of MW2 are preserved in MW3, especially nowadyas CODs are nothing more than junk without the title? This game may not be perfect but still it worths 9.5/10.
