This has brought me more enjoyment in 2 hours than I ever got from playing EFT lol

Edit: I'm still recommending this because as far as extraction shooters go, I think Arc Raiders is better than some. However if you're looking for a coop or even just a friendly experience, find something else. The gameplay is quickly becoming sort of pvp-only and it seems like a lot of pve-focused players are already moving on.

The omnipod system isn't really as flexible as I hoped it would be in this game, and some mechs are really hurting for slots more than they should, but it doesn't seem to render the clan mechs inferior in any obvious way. You'll still be tearing apart inner sphere mechs like a clan mechwarrior should.

I think the more extensive squad control and the command view from this game definitely needs to be added to Mercs. I shouldn't have to manually switch between mechs and individually walk them into repair bays, kudos to the Clans team for recognizing that lol.

The UI could use a bit more clarity in areas with critical information, I spent more time than I'd like to admit fussing over whether the paper doll view for my mech was only showing slight damage or if I had exposed internals :|

Overall, I liked the main campaign despite it being a little dry, but I loved the Ghost Bear DLC.

Happy to see there is a newgame+ option too. I'm definitely going to be revisiting this every so often.

Fantastic campaign, great difficulty curve. Loved the intensity of both the story and the characters themselves.

This dlc's mission series is an assault mech-only slog with NO TIME TO REPAIR ANYTHING. The story is okay...
Some of the missions get really difficult. I had to savescum quite a bit and hope the AI was too stupid to focus fire.

Buy on sale and keep a fleet of 12+ assault mechs on hand or don't bother.

I loved AC6, I even loved raging at it.

Solid reboot of the series, hope to see more.

Overall, I think it's a good remake/remaster/whatever. It stays faithful to the original where it counts. I'm very happy with the changes to how leveling works. I hated efficient leveling in the original.

My biggest qualms are that it's 120gb of space on my drive, and external cells kill my framerate. Oh, and sometimes I just crash leaving an interior, especially around Chorrol. That is *also* very much like the original lol.

Rivals can be a lot of fun, however....This game's MM system forces every game to be a hard win or hard loss, so you're either obliterating people who seem like bots or you're getting steamrolled so hard you forget you're playing a video game. I genuinely can't tell if I'm getting better at playing certain heroes or if I'm just bad because of how decisive games are.

There's some occasional crashing on region loads right now but some launch options seemed to have fixed them for me.

I've fought more bloodsuckers in 60 minutes than I've seen in an entire movie franchise starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but when that's not happening this game is pretty awesome. As of me editing this post today, a balance change hit bloodsuckers with a lot of tweaks that bring them in line with how they felt in previous games, they are no longer prolific bullet sponges. They are now only prolific. All is well.
