Elite Dangerous. It's not on Steam but it's what I've been playing. It's Wing Commander, It's X3, it's a Space flight sim. You'll struggle to play it with a mouse. You'll possibly struggle if you try and play with an X-Box controller.

You fly a vehicle. It's a vehiclular simulator.

But ofh, so much more. MMO map size? My map size is the MILKY WAY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GALAXY!
