Wow, what a journey this was. A lot of raging and a lot exciting moments. I loved the atmosphere, music is top notch, great maps and character design. I love Shakra and the cute fleas - I hate bile water and sinner's road. Great game

I've always been a fan of racing games since NFSU2 or F1 2002. This is my first FH game and it's safe to say after 230h of playing, I got a bit addicted to it. Up until this point, I've done already done most of the accolades and got myself into the top 4-5k players and got almost all cars. Absolute blast of a game that I've played the last two months like crazy.

Gameplay: It's racing, can't get much more simpler than that but with the tuning, game-modes and lots of challenges, arcade and eliminator are very fun, you have the playlist to win rewards so it gives you a totally different experience. Driving is feels much better than NFS Heat for e.x.
Graphics/Sounds: Beautiful. Colourful. Cars go brrr
Music/Radio: Music is pretty superb. Lots of variety. I really started to like most of the songs that are played. Lots of variety but nothing over the top.
Map: Love the map. it's huge. However, the seasons don't really change much compared to FH4.
Customization: Not a lot of body kits or visually changing your car completely. Something that NFS Heat had a lot and I loved it. From the tires to the exhaust sounds, body kits, rims, tire smoke, neons... amazing. FH5 lacks a bit of that but it's still decent enough. Yes, I know FH5 is different than NFS where tuning something also changes how the car drives but still think NFS wins that by just a bit. Vinyls and designing you car is pretty impressive.
Bugs/Optimization: Oh boy, where do I start? Although there were a lot of bugs at the launch, most of them are already fixed so I'm glad they're trying to improve the game and updating it. Top 1% of anything comparable is cheated and also encountered a few online cheaters, the rest has mostly been fixed EXCEPT the optimization (At least for me). I'm running a 3070, 16GB DDR4, AMD 5800x, SSD 980 Pro and I'm STILL getting frame rate drops, stutters, world glitching out, weird particles, shimmering objects, textures not loading, random crashes. Really not fun and can be frustrating at times. I've already tried everything that was posted online as a "solution" but it didn't do it for me so.. Apparently the game has a memory leak but only on steam(?) idk...

However..
Other than that, It's a great game just to chill and drive around the Mexican open world that is, Forza Horizon 5.

I feel like it's good but not good enough? The overall customisation options are neat, very well detailed and well-thought of but it's still missing some key features compared to the reworked volvo mo or even the Scania/Griffin DLC which is much better. for e.x. different lights, variety of grill options, additional bars, lower bumper options... etc.

Although SCS has added some pretty awesome and amazing parts. I'm a big fan of those mirror and back spoiler LEDs. I don't know, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit but the trucks could've used a slight texture update I think. STILL, in my opinion, it is worth the price. 4€ isn't that high but if you want to, you can at least wait for a sale (maybe during summer).

Also, I'm not sure if they're allowed to do that but couldn't they just update the tuning packs with additional content/options? They did it with the DLC maps so I guess it is possible? it Would be pretty generous to update them in the future maybe.

I saw Shroud has had played this game on his stream. Looked quite fun. Tried the cracked version first in case I get let down but, as expected, it was addicting. I like simulation games so this kinda felt like it. Wanted to support the devs so finally bought it!

I just love the satisfaction of turning an ugly house into a good-looking mansion. Progression system to upgrade your skills makes you want to play the game more.

We'll see if it gets more sweet updates. Overall, great game.

Superb detail, it really stands out with the rest of the map. Always fun to explore new parts of a dlc

One of the most fun simulation games to play out there. Really comes close to a realistic driving experience in Europe. Beautiful and detailed scenery, trucks and trailers. Regular events and DLC maps expand the driving experience with even more amazing countries and their culture. Looking forward to expanding the quality of this game.

Edit: After playing ets2 for quite a while and explored and drove everything, I tried to play it again and, my God, it's great.

Pretty good I must say. Better than the last sim city heh. All jokes aside Vanilla/basic game is Great, all the dlc's so far make it even better, mod support is crazy. I'm a fan. Enjoyable, relaxing, addictive. :D

But playing this game at max settings and still get choppy, laggy, unpleasing gameplay to my eye is a disaster.
