Yeah this is phenomenal. Think of it as a digital version of a board game that'd be too impractical to exist.

Likes to kick me out of games without any error message or any way to get back in.

Ehhh... hypothetically the changes are good... I get wanting the game to be more grounded, easier to grok, not need a loot filter, etc. In practice I flipped between different classes not finding one that feels fun to play. Didn't play a lot during the free weekend but the first impression didn't give me much reason to continue.

Now that I've seen credits on this game (most of my game time has been on Game Pass), what a phenomenal game. Just one of the best games of this type ever made, let alone in the current era. A must play.

Good game

It really does feel like an AU Persona 5 game. Style, soundtrack, everything is intact. I really do not like the change of the theme from "stealing other people's malevolent intent" to "stealing back people's hopes and desires that were taken". It extremely misses the point. I guess I can understand why they changed it... "getting people addicted to gatcha to take all their money" is something the original Phantom Thieves would punish someone for.

But this commits the ultimate sin of a gatcha game... the act of pulling is lame. There's no excitement to it. How do you screw up a Persona 5 slot machine?! The music is downbeat, the animation lacks energy. miHoYo would've never signed off, they would've sent this one back to the drawing board.

I like the owl, though.

Oh hey, yeah, this is great

Eh. I heard this was an X-Com-like and it had good reviews so I gave it a spin, but it is incredibly easy. Not a modicum of resistance. If it gets harder later it doesn't happen fast enough. I'm afraid I don't like anime tiddy enough to carry me through to that point.

Yeah, it's good, there's good mods for it now too.
