This game is everything what passionate developers could make nowadays if they wouldn't be owned by suits. Thankfully for us, Larian made this a shining beacon of light in todays gaming industry. This game is deep, vast, story rich, engaging and rewarding without the need of season passes, lootboxes, the fomo bullcrap other developers put into their games nowadays to keep you in there. Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't need any of that. You will want to keep playing it, because it ticks every box (almost every box if you don't like turn based combat) what you've been missing all these years.
Remember when you asked yourself, am i too old for gaming, am i burned out? Why i don't like the new games like old times? - That's it. It was never you. And this game proves it.

I've never in my mind imagined this year has any GOTY title contender other than Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Now, i'm pretty sure this game will be there, possibly winning even.

I've already completed the game on Gamepass, but felt the need to buy it too, to support the devs. Currently playing NG+ with my transferred save file.

This is the best game I've played since Baldur's Gate 3, and is probably my new favourite game.

The story is simply fantastic, its intriguing, well put together, and has massive twists.
The gameplay while not fully new, its innovative enough to feel fresh.
The music... oh god the music. It's so good people are joking that they got a free game with a music album (and yes, its that good)
The game systems are just working flawlessly together like a well oiled machine
The graphics -while im not a snob- are phenomenal

This is clearly GOTY material from a new studio as a debut game. Unbeleivable.
