Got 4.5k hours here,5.5k on another account. Been playing for about 12+ years, I've seen most of the bugs, happenings and problems of this game, but now, it's another case. Last update was SEVEN YEARS AGO. 7. Bots have overrun the whole game. Cheats are so rampant that you'll get cheaters fighting for who has the best client hack. Scammers, phishers and shakers are just hoarding everything for insane prices.Trades in game have been broken for a year now.We still miss the promised heavy update. It's a game that needs so little to be fixed, but Valve prefers to suck it dry while it could reach top popularity with no problem. 10 developers for just a million a year won't make a dent in your profits, while you get that much in a month despite the unplayable state of the game. F##K you valve, on the same level of EA, Nintendo and Ubisoft.

Want a game where the dlc costs 16 times more then the game itself? Want a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game who sees pandering as the only way to keep it alive? Where you either buy the latest dlc or the new overpowered stuff makes the game impossible to enjoy?
A game who needs a nasa pc to just not lag on low? Were the games are either a stomp or a total failure? That's the game for you! Then this game is for you! Enjoy a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game, for only 170 euros on sale!

Do you want to play an rpg but you don't have the time, will and brain to do so? Well, Fallout 4 is the game for you!

GAMEPLAY
The main story is simple, find your son. Too simple, because you will just run around asking people if they saw your son.
You got lots of sidequest, which except some good ones, are mostly the same "clear X location" "Kill X type of enemy".
Very fine and good shooting, tons personalization, but very little "unique" weapons, which mostly got swapped with LEGENDARY weapons.
Sometimes you will find a LEGENDARY enemy (normal enemy, but LEGENDARY) which will just regen to full health once it's down around 30%.
After you kill him, you can loot him said LEGENDARY weapon or armor, which has most of the time a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ buff (such as dealing more dmg at night and less at day) which sometimes with the right buff and the right weapon, you get some op combinations, but mostly, you'll get a pipe rifle with the last bullet dealing double dmg.
Then we got armors, which mostly are just extra stats. But you can get the POWER ARMOR. Be ready to become a god, unstoppable force that can go head first into any situation. For sure, it's a rare late game stuff right? You get it in the tutorial.

THE TALKING
The dialogue options are:
Yes
No
Yes but funny and quirky
No but angry
And sometimes one of said lines gets changed with "But why/who/where/when"
Then charisma is a broken stat. You will win the game just by maxing it out. You see the enemy leader faction with strong morals and iron will? Just go to him, say "You are wrong" and he will instantly lay down his arms and retire.
At the end of quests, you can either get more caps by asking more caps, or tell the npc "Don't/Do that next time".

PERKS
Most of them are useless if you arent playing survival, and your main go to will be full charisma and luck, max idiot savant and you win the game. Some are too niche to be used, some are very strong, some are just stupid and funny, but nothing special.

THE WORLD
There are 4 factions.
Minutemen, boring boyscouts with nothing interesting going for them. You will just do quests that makes you go from point A to B to A again. And then kill some crabs in a castle.

Institute, boring mad scientists who think replacing humans with robots will save humans. They got tech out of the fallout world, and instead of saving and rebuilding society will kidnap Jimmy the farmer who lives in a shed in the middle of nowhere and swap him with an identical robot.

Railroad, if you think that the institute is dumb, the railroad are the ones who think robots are humans and deserve to be saved at all costs. That's it. A faction that just follows another faction.

THE MF BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL
The only ones with a decent and lenghty questline, with tons of cool unique quests. They see high level technology as dangerous and will hoard it to keep it away from randoms. And see mutants as impure and dangerous.

Then you got some smaller factions that you will either wipe out or just forget about them.

COMPANIONS
Companions are dumb. You will have to respect some "rules" for each different companion. Pick locks, dont pick locks, help everybody, help nobody. The more things you do that they love the higher their companionship will be. Till a point that you'll unlock a special quest for their storyline. After that they can be your lovers, most of them.

THE IMPACT
Your impact on the world will be very minimal. You can side with just one of the factions, and despide doing all the quests for them you'll be unable to change the course of the events. No alliances, no friends, only foes against your side.

CONCLUSION
I'ts a fun game, you can do alot of things and the graphics are good and the gameplay is cool. But if you want a real fallout experience, go for the older games. It lacks the soul of an rpg, the possibility of changing the world into what you want and have a real impact.

Puoi fare tutto quello che vuoi, con oggetti, armi e equip di tutti i tipi, puoi costruire tutto quello che vuoi.
Tantissime cose da scoprire e fare, varie modalità fatte per chi vuole solo divertirsi a chi vuole una vera e propria sfida.
Artstile unico, scelta nella creazione di oggetti e armi assurdamente belle, da delfini minigun a una spada spara gatti.
Ogni personaggio che crei può darti almeno 100 ore, e tenerti impegnato per settimane.
E senza dimenticare di TmodLoader, incorporato grazie a una collab tra i dev, che ti permette di trasformare questo gioco in tutto quello che vuoi.
Insomma, per 10 euro, penso non ci sia modo in cui li potresti spendere in una maniere migliore se non comprando Terraria.

(RECENSIONE DEL 2015) Dopo quasi 2 anni,non sembra che abbia avuto tante migliorie.
Texture fatte da 3 poligoni, crei un personaggio maschio con tutte le varie modifiche e te ne da uno femmina di default, mondo che sembra fatto col righello, zombie minatori (compenetrati nel terreno),15 fps anche se hai un computer più che discreto, insomma... se costasse 5 euro andrebbe bene, ma non vale il suo prezzo.


-Proverò a giocare ancora e vedere se sono semplicemente dei piccoli bug rarissimi che ho trovato di colpo con la mia fortuna

UPDATE A 2023:
il gioco è più mattonoso che mai, richiede hardware d'ultima generazione per una grafica buona se fosse di 10 anni fa. Il gameplay in sè è migliorato, ma sempre estremamente limitato. Bella la mappa più grande e varia, ma finisci per fare sempre le stesse 4 fetch quest.
