It's a very solid game and honestly one of the best sequels I've played in awhile.
It definitely holds up to the standard of what Hades was, the charm and the challenge is still there.
The soundtrack, voice lines, everything is definitely on point!
I hope it wins or at least gets nominated as GOTY. The wait was definitely worth it!

I'm not yet done with the story but I can already see that they took their time to provide us an exciting and polished game. Thank you and I hope every developer understands that it's not always about milking the community. Thank you again SUPERGIANT!

now let me get back to my game lmao

wish there was a "meh" review option.
The Good: the gameplay is smooth, there are lots of weapons, gears, reapers to collect etc
The Bad: omfg this game is more grindy than Diablo 4 and that's saying a lot

I wish the end game had more to offer than just mindlessly running the same random maps over and over.
honestly I don't mind the grind, but it has to be meaningful. even after EA the game feels like a slog.
Will still give a positive review as I did find myself playing it for hours on end. but I hope there's better content coming.

The better recommendation: Grim Dawn, Last Epoch or if you have the time, POE 1 or 2 :)

The game is great after hours of play, but solo runs get dull with no teammates. Some achievements, like reviving teammates, are frustrating alone. Certain spells need buffs, and new objectives—like walking on lava—feel disruptive. AI teammates would help break the monotony, and leaderboards could add excitement to endless runs. Hoping for improvements—more power to the devs!

Game has insane content but limited replay ability. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this game is a must play.
I hope future content will be more amazing :)

Game is okay for what it's worth. But surely there could be some improvements such as an Auto Aim. Also the RNG at the beginning could also use some improvement- like I've had a run and for the next 5 levels all that spawned for me are MSPD, HP, HP Regen upgrades. Like I know this genre can be punishing but it should also be fun at the same time. Still giving a positive review since the game is just fairly new.

Enjoyable game with lots of replayability. I just wish the new patches would have updates for some of the other classes

Definitely a masterful showcase of how fishing and Lovecraftian Horror should be. The ambiance is spectacular. The game grips you in with a looming dread of what's to come and yet it's not too daunting. DREDGE captures the atmosphere of how we are just small machinations in the eyes of ancient beings... Love it.
