that jumping dog is OP AF, is it just me?

I've beaten Normal easily with Double Knives/Spectral Knives/Closed Body/Prayer of Vengeance build. Then I went to Abyss and while normal monsters were no issue, the Bosses in Act 1 on level 3 and 7 are insane. I can't beat the one on 7 at all, I run out of potions because of his high hp and high damage. I could probably beat it if I went into full defensive build and got all my resist to max but my damage would be atrocious and I wouldn't be able to get farther.
