Coridden, an ode to beloved old school ARPGs and puzzle platformers with the spice of shapeshifting.
If Diablo 2, Trine, and Animorphs were at a party, this game would be the aftermath.
Overall a very fun game to play with another person, or 3 others. Excited for more updates and contents, and another great addition to coop games.
+PROS:
+A good casual ARPG entry, it's not easy, but not too difficult either. Not nearly as grindy as some other competitors.
+Custom class maker with respecs available at the main town. Separate world and character saves.
+Alternant system is reminiscent of Diablo 2's + Elder Scrolls' rune systems. Makes making any/most gear useable once forging is unlocked.
+Creature subspecies adds on another variety to equipment and build synergies.
+Puzzles and platforming aren't too difficult and can be solved solo in addition to coop.
+Plenty of accessibility options + controller support. Devs are also very active on Discord to assist.
-CONS:
-No preview option for gear + hiding armor options.
-Lack of camera control can lead to some awkward viewpoints and you can get stuck or lost due to said awkward angles.
-Some may feel there's not enough creatures, with the current total only being 7. This may be subject to change in possible future updates.
-Since the world save is independent only on the host's end, other players need to progress their own world to gain access to features and shops that are locked when not playing that host's save, even if they're using the same character save.
-No personal customization if you're looking for that. There is some limited customization through gear, and no transmog option (at this time).
