Greetings. I have managed to find the Zoom Crystal; the ancient artifact which will enable me to communicate to you from the tavern. I hope things are safe in the cave where you are holed up. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get past the guards to pass on any more information, so it was a good piece of fortune that I happened to stumble upon this crystal.
