Not as good as the first one, too many politics.

Amazing game, buy it.

I need to preface this reveiw by saying the game is fairly buggy. I had an instance where the main quest had a bug. However, unlike skyrim where NPCs will disapear between loading areas, the NPCs are persistant and I eventually found the one I was looking for.
With that said, this is the best story/rpg game I have played ever.
The gameplay is good, the characterization is good, the setting and graphics are fantastic, and the historic accuracy and authenticity with armor, social order, and politics is refreshing and immersive. The campaign length and the size of the world are perfect, though when I finished the game I was upset because I wanted to put a few hundred more hours into it. It took me 88 hours to finish the game and by the end of it I new the routes to all the towns, most people in the towns and what lord ruled them.
I will say there are some parts of the game which are lacking, the romance system and multicombatant fighting. When fighting the camera is focused on only one target because of the way the mouse is used for controlling swing direction. This makes fighting 5 people at a time frustrating. However, after playing the game long enough the strength of armor and increased skill in combat will remedy this issue almost completely.

Oldrim is good, mods work.
SSE is bad, paid mods.

Don't get it.
