I must address something quite simple; being I am a free-thinking person doesn't mean I will accept ignorance, it means I have the intelligence and sentient ability to think freely despite the sway of modern media or social standards. I use my head; I use reason and I use logic, before I make my own personal judgement call on a situation, person or group. I will not subject myself to the ignorance or arrogance of pandering to a group or person, I will not bow my head or halt my tongue when it comes to speaking my opinion.

To be a free thinker is to be someone willing to accept the fact that your opinion; though it may not be shared by others, is your own opinion.

People will put you down, push you around, use you and abuse you for not believing in whatever the current social standard define as normal - but don't you ever let these people win. Do your homework, keep your eyes and ears open, and form your own opinion - that is what it means to be free.
