GNOME ALONE 2: DWARVES IN SPACE

✓ Solid world design and is a lot of fun to explore.
✓ Settlement builder was fun to use
✓ Crafting system integrated well
✓ Gunplay is engaging if simple

X Generally bad character and faction writing
X Does not feel like a Fallout game
X Really bad performance

Definitely not for fans of the older games or those who want a deep narrative, but the exploration/upgrade game-play loop is a lot of fun (I would describe it as Borderlands-adjacent). I would've recommended this game back in the day, but there are other open world games that are worth spending time in over this one in my opinion.

I know not a lot of people find Quake 2 all that interesting, but it's still a solid FPS with solid gunplay. Has the best grenade launcher and chaingun of the series too. The updated enemy AI is also integrated really way and fixes a lot of the balancing issues with the later levels.

An absolutely amazing game, even if it has nothing to do with it's namesake. Should be considered a classic and a must-play for any immersive sim fans!
