Wow... just finished, and I think I will need some time to think everything over... this game... this masterpiece... Irrational did a very amazing job.

Enjoyed the mechanics, good amount of intense and challenging battles, and simply amazing/astounding plot, with a very very very satisfying ending. While some people find the mechanics or other aspects of the game not pleasant, this game is already worth every penny (and more) for the plot alone. Heck, if I absolutely despised the mechanics (I don't), and I knew how awesome the story is, I wouldn't give two sh*** and play it anyway, even had to play this on a oscilloscope.

Definitely replaying it again, no doubt about that. Recommend it to everyone.

Nostalgic feelings for this mod, having played it back in 2009 - 2010 time frame.

Very well made and very fun to play, but sadly, the community has almost perished.
Wish more people still played this...

Mix of DayZ and Minecraft in a perfect balance. The game is very fun and has a lot of features. Plus, it's free (and 5$ for the PERMAMENT gold is really worth getting). Great game overall, a must try.

Even though this is a mod, it is much better than many games out there, and I genuinely believe it should be sold, because it deserves it. Cry of Fear is a great story, combined with awesome action, and the Half Life 1 Engine really adds to the game, creating such fear in the player. It has a few bugs, but if you care more for the overall impression of the game, you must try this out. 10/10. Simply amazing.

I would say it isn't a game worth being on Greenlight. It's a very rough mod, it' more like a very good university project, rather than a published mod. Half Life fans can try it out, but maximum what you can get out of it is about 10 - 20 minutes.

I'm barely giving this a recommendation, as this can be little bit of fun for some hardcore Half Life fans.

This game is a jewel of the genre of apocalyptic games, and escpecially S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. UI is practical and simple, storyline is very good (but wish it was longer), new graphics engine really brings the game to the table. And that atmosphere....This is why S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games have fans all around the world. The atmosphere in this game is simply amazing, it makes you want to put hundreds and hundreds of hours of gameplay even after you finish the game.Great thing is that this series has also a very big modding community, so it is always interesting to play. Be that a graphics/weather mods (i.e. Atmosfear 3), arsenal mods, overall improvment of the game (Complete mod), or global mods which create an entirely new storyline. There are easily a couple of hundred hours on this game. I would recommend it to everyone, especially people who like post-apocalyptic genre, realism, atmosphere, and simply a well made game.
My rating: 15 out of 10.

This is just a classic. Loads of fun from the good old times....
