It's Chrono Trigger. Designed by the dream team. If you don't know why this game is great, you've been under a rock for 30 years. Play it, you won't regret it.

It's Destiny 2. It can be really good at times, it can be really bad at times, but one thing is for sure - there's nothing else like it.

Fun so far but beware if you're a solo player, the companion AI is worthless

I was a little worried about Dawn of Sorrow, but playing there on regular gaming hardware feels great. The games all manage to keep their original charm. If you're a fan of the Advance collection, these won't disappoint.

What can I say? I love these games. They remind me of the 70's/80's "space operas". The first game is more RPG than shooter, the 2nd is a nice blend of the 2, and the 3rd is more shooter. All 3 games are terrific in their own right, even if some are considered weaker installments than others. Carrying your character and decisions throughout the entire trilogy adds a whole new level of immersion. Game is worth every cent imo, and goes on sale often so if you get the chance do yourself a favor and give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

A lot of fun with friends. Solo, not so much.

3 great games in one. The GBA/DS era was probably one of the best runs the series will have. Aria is close to SOTN as one of my favorites. Worth every penny, esp if you can catch it on sale.

What can I say? Sea of Stars is probably the best "old-school" RPG I've played in YEARS. The story starts off kind of generic at first, but becomes much more interesting as you go on. The combat system borrows from the greatest SNES era RPGs, combination attacks from Chrono Trigger, timed hits from Mario RPG, it's all there. Another plus is the games Magic Point system where using regular attacks restores MP which allows you to use your techniques more frequently, instead of gulping down Ethers like in other games. The Lock system adds a creative level of strategy to battles by either weakening enemy attacks, or outright canceling them. I haven't finished the game yet (I'm in the 2nd Act) and I'm over 20 hours in, so the game it reasonably long. Overall I'm really enjoying my experience with it, and if you like classic RPGs you'd be missing out if you didn't give this a try.
