Absolutely horrendous. I wasted so much of my time trying to get somewhere in this game only to find out that it is undeniably the most perverse, evil, degenerate game I have ever seen. From playing this game, you get a clear picture of who this dev is: a disgusting lowlife who thinks all social norms and morals are meant to be scoffed at. I tried, but you cannot get anywhere in this game being good. You HAVE to sell hard drugs to make enough money to do anything. You HAVE to pimp or take advantage of poor people to develop relationships. You HAVE to engage in pornographic, smut content to unlock certain areas of the game or develop romantic relationships. You HAVE to watch or participate in child murder, suicide, cannibalism, or gore porn to progress in the game. It's all forced down your throat. And the game actively punishes you for trying to be good. You'll get blocked from certain parts of the game, not be able to progress, told by the game and characters that being good is useless, and even have your character get arrested, beaten, lose so much time and material and action points, all for trying to NOT peddle drugs, pimp women, sell cadavers, harvest organs, steal, murder, solicit ♥♥♥♥♥♥, do drugs, help people, and all that. On top of that, this game is completely misleading: When I first downloaded it, the store page said absolutely nothing about this being a smutty porn game. Nor does the prologue of the game give any indication about how substantially and ethically bankrupt the majority of the game is. An absolute degenerate game. And that isn't even getting to actual gameplay, which also sucks. Every single event drags on as long as possible to drain you of as many action points as possible to make you have to wait or use microtransactions to refill your action points. And 95% of the game boils down to the same 10 or so repeat everyday events that just get thrown at you endlessly, with the occasional meaningful and unique event thrown in.

Every single mechanic is complete bs. Everything is rigged to be as awful, difficult, and infuriating as possible. I just tried to get some simple achievements but its literally impossible because every step forward you make, you are set five steps back by some rigged, crappy POS mechanic or event.

Runs sh*tty, camera is buggy as hell, annoyingly tedious controls, lacks interesting gameplay, and is really f*cking weird.

Awesome game. Valve makes the great games, and Half-Life 2 is the epitome of all their games. Only Halo and Gears of War can contest with HL2 for best sci-fi shooter, and I personnaly think it is better than both. My favorite parts are the intense and heart-pounding moments of action, interactive "cutscenes" that you can just mess around in, and amazing facial detail (keep in mind this was released in 2004, and the details, textures, and facial movements are so good that someone who doesn't know about it might think it was made in 2010 or later).

Amazing game. Has a few bugs, but other than that, simply amazing.

Hands down, the best multiplayer game I've ever played. Good work, Valve.
