Great game, even if its as dated as it is.

I am rewriting my review and have changed my opinion as more and more updates and performance fixes etc. have been updated and implemented.

The game looks beautiful on the new Unreal/Unity Engine, but make sure you have the specs to handle this game.

The physics do still feel a bit wonky to me in ball race, and in some of the maps the necessity to instantly turn around and decelerate make it seem more of a nuisance at times than anything, but I think that was only Khromidro? Not positive. The other maps seem pretty fun and the older ones are still fairly close to what they looked like. Some of the newer ones though are INSANELY difficult, making memories look like child's play. A welcomed new improvement.

Minigolf is still fun as anything. Honestly, this game in and of itself is arguably as good as half the other golfing games/sims on steam IMO. If you play with a few friends, it's even more fun. The only thing I dislike about the minigolf atm is in the Pirate Cove/Treasure Island level, the ball can get stuck in the cannon's/forced path. Also, theres another couple of small quirks on other levels where you can get trolled out of a perfect hole in one because the physics or angle that your ball went through the hole simply didn't align perfectly, but I'll say this is maybe a 1/4 sort of a thing.

Since GMT I have not even tried Virus, and have yet to try the newer gamemodes, but they are again, welcome imrpovements, especially knowing we now have features like Bowling, the Casino still functions, and condo's still work and exist.

Now, I have a very strange issue with my condo atm, only 1/4 of my screen shows the proper brightness and I really don't wish to redo the entire thing, but I just may if I end up with enough coins/units to buy a bigger one lol.

All in all I would say make sure you have at least an i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and at least an AMD 7xxx series GPU or an nVidia 7xx series or newer GPU if you'd like to play this game. I would rate this at a 8/10, especially since so many of the features and issues I've previously encountered have been fixed and at a fairly fast pace for such a small team. My apologies for the initially biased and negative review, I may have found my go to game again ;D.

But in all seriousness, other than the general lack of support from Hi-Rez as far as updates are concerned, this game is great. The community has gotten significantly smaller, which may make the learning curve a bit steeper as a fair deal of games consist of high ranked players.
