Went into this expecting a frustrating first 10 hours like so many reviewers were reporting, but have had nothing but thrill and awe overcome me. If it only gets better from here, this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece.

Story and Dialogue (5% of the game) - Garbage
Gameplay and Combat (95% of the game) - Amazing

Incredible to see what Crowbar Collective has pulled off. They completely overhauled Xen into a masterpiece, let alone redeveloping and improving nearly every other sequence and facet to the game. Hope they get proper recognition for the achievements they made. Every HL fan should make it their priority to play this, even over Alyx, and it would serve as a great entry point into the franchise for newcomers too.
