This game hits home for me. It's almost like I am Niko Bellic. You know those Top Gear shirts that say, "I AM THE STIG" on it? I need one that says, "I AM NIKO BELLIC." Niko and I share some common traits. We're both Slavic. We both have a good taste in automobiles. We both have cousins. We both have bad taste clothing. And anytime we find a girl, they usually end up being spies for the authorites. I will admit that I didn't immigrate from Albania or wherever he's from. But still, you can see the resemblance. The story was very immersive. That's about it. You play as a Slavic dude and shoot people. That's it. SPOILER ALERT: People die, and especially the ones that are on the sidewalk because you're too drunk to realize that you can't drive after taking an absurd amount of gummy bear vodka shots. I will also say, that the multiplayer for GTA IV is way better than GTA V. I don't want insurance, or the ability to have my own house. I can get that in real life. I just don't have the money.

Overall, I give this game 8 half-finished bottles of vodka out of 9 hammer and sickels.

I like this game. I like it a lot in all honestly. This combines so many good elements of what Valve is capable of, you really don't need anymore games after this. This is seriously the only game on Steam you need. All those other games like, oh, what, Call of Duty: Toasts, Team Hatress 2, Half-Life 2. I mean, come on? Why would Valve make a game only half finished and call it just that? What, you didn't know? That's why it's called Half-Life. HALF-Life. HALF. As in, HALF finished. Read a book people. Going back to Ricochet. This game makes me feel good when I play it. I like to play this game with my friends, Tim and Bob, on the weekends. This game helps me relive all of my TRON: Legacy fantasies. Some say if you play on the right servers (which are rumored to be hidden and only accessable by inputing a hexadecimal IP into the console), you are able to play with Daft Punk themselves. But if you're super lucky. you'll be getting lucky because Pharrell Williams will also be joining you on the server. Talk about Get Lucky, right? Right? RIGHT?! You could imagine my excitment when I heard that Ricochet 2 is being developed and will be released by the end of 2014. I mean, the internet said it would be, and the internet has been proven to never be wrong. I know some people have said that it was fake, but they're just weak. I know I'll be laughing at them when i'll be reliving TRON: Legacy over and over and over again, and they'll be busy collecting virtual hats/bitcoins.

*Disclaimer* These are my own thoughts, you do not have to agree with my thoughts. If you value the game, then please, keep doing what you're doing. Please don't hate me.

I did it. I'm not proud of it, but I couldn't help it. Back in 2009-2010, I had started to watch those YouTube machinimas with this game and other Valve games and I thought to myself, "I'll have what these guys are having." So I bought it, along with Garry's Mod. Roughly 1500 hours combined. Good dael right? I guess. But then, something happened. I couldn't help myself, it was there. I had to give money, I HAD TO. This wolf in sheep's clothing. The reason why so much hate happens to games. Microtransactions. The Mann Co. Store. At first, it wasn't much. A sticky jumper and a rocket jumper. But it escalated. Oh man, did it escalate. Soon, I was giving enough money for them to wake up in a new Bugatti for years to come. Hats, weapons, misc. times, a Team Fortress 2 players dream. Then it hit me. You see, there is something that you don't see in front of those words, the word, "Virtual". Meaningless. To me, PERSONALLY, it's all meaningless. To someone else, it might mean something, and that's perfectly fine. But I'm not going to be buying a house with a Vintage Bill's Hat. I won't be buying a new car with 3 buds. I don't think people who sell things on Craigslist are in the market for a Name Tag. I had to quit. I had to let it all go. I gave away every single thing I owned to siblings, friends, enemies, you name it. I knew that if I kept it, I could relapse at any moment and get addicted to it again. This game is no longer a multiplayer game like Counter-Strike or Day of Defeat. This is a whole RPG now. As with any RPG (Maplestory and Runescape to name a few where I've spent real money on the former and no longer continue to play the game.) you get addicted almost instantaneously. I wish I had some of that money back, but I suppose it was a learning experience if anything.

Valve, you make great games. You make memorable games. You make games that everyone enjoys. But do you know what? You're also real good at rolling in the dough. I'm not stopping anyone from playing the game. You want to play? Go for it. But I sure am happy that I no longer am.

I honestly can't believe this wasn't on Steam sooner. Seriously. This has to be one of the best games of this generation. After playing through it once, I went back and did a speed run. Then I went back and did another speedrun. I kept this up for about 15 hours until some family members got concerned and turned the power to the house off. It didn't matter, I had enough information about this game to keep replaying it in my head for weeks to come. Do not listen to the other reviewers. This is the only game you need (except for Half-Life 1). The graphics are like an old school throwback to the good ol' days when graphics were good. Lets talk about the story for a bit. It's like Plato, Shakespeare, the person that works at my local McDonalds, and Skrillex all came together and made this story. It'll blow your mind. You are just put into this world with a handful of Cherrios and you are forced to fight for your life and figure out the mystery of the boat and why it even exists. Last but not least are the physics. I can imagine what happened. Someone thought, "You know what, I don't like this real life physics, I like physics version 2.awesome and a half." And, you know what? I quite like it. I give this game 3 chickens out of 6 cows. Totally recommended.

Also, if you thought any of this is serious, well, it isn't.

One of the most inspiring, most enlightening games of it's time. After finishing this game for the first time, I had to go back and play it several more times. In fact, I replayed this over 70 times and I still wasn't able to fully soak the story of the lone fisherman and his quest to help the protagonist Grodan Friedman and his trusty companion, the crowbar. I spent many hours up at night just trying to fathom what exactly went through the mind of Friedman as he traversed through the barren landscape of Highway 17. Don't even get me started on how much the High Dynamic Range adds to the whole game. Seriously. I mean, you couldn't get anymore detail and lighting even if you went outside, took a rocket to the surface of the sun, and stood there even though you'd be burning up. Overall, I give this game 8.76 times the square root of pi out of ten. Plus, you get more Garry's Mod Props. Awesome, right?
