When the community is the only bad thing you can say about a game, it's a pretty good game! Some tiny bugs here and there, but it's still a beta! Right?

I can't play horror games without bathing in daylight and hopefully having a friend to support me. But Alan Wake succeeds in being scary, without scaring you.

Alan Wake is a third-person-shooter, with its concept being fighting darkness with your trusty flashlight. The story is so great, that the reason I didn't finish this game in one sitting (like I did with Portal 2) is the good lenght in the game. Gameplay-wise it's very repetivive; run through forest, shoot bad guys, run through more forest, shoot more bad guys. The game tries and put in some new features during combat, but the process is the same.
I loved this game, I loved the characters, the environment and the awesome music at the end of each chapter. If you're thinking about buying this, you really should.

This is probably one of the best indie games I've ever played. With a great story, amazing storytelling, beautiful graphics and fun gameplay, I truly recommend this game!
