So far its been a really great coop looter shooter. Gunplay is super fun, going through dungeons is engaging, and the 2 player dynamics are great. The game is very clearly built to avoid problems with playing both single and multiplayer, and doesnt seem to have issues with overleveled teammates ruining the fun for others (an issue i had with borderlands). Playing through the main campaign with my partner (love you baby) has been really *painless.

One of my favorite parts is how not a single part of your build is really locked in. Rings, Amulets, Relics, Weapon Mods, and even your classes can be swapped out at any time (not even at a checkpoint!), so trying out tons of stuff is super easy and doesnt require any amount of grinding or finite resources (*ahem* fromsoft). Skill points do require you buy an item to reset them, but theyre not super impactful and said item is relatively cheap, infinite, and immediately available.

The story and characters arent really anything to write home about, but i find it mildly interesting and some of the character designs are fun (we both love dwell).

So far we're having a blast playing it, and i totally recommend anyone who wants an RPG hoard shooter.

*ive noticed some iffy netcode and delay, but he personally doesnt notice it across continents so it hasnt bothered us :P
