Cool story, cool gameplay, good scares. If you like RE you'll like this. Story was really cool and the callbacks to older games were fun. Mercenaries mode please and thank you capcom.

This game is really good but it has a problem of making me happy I'm playing kingdom hearts and then immediately forcing me into some weird minigame. I normally don't mind that kind of thing but each time I'm exploring or having fun with the combat it feels like the game comes to a sudden stop. The story underneath the surface is really good but it's presented with cutscenes that are stilted and awkward even for KH standards. Regardless, it's a satisfying conclusion to the dark seeker saga and I really like how it sets up the future of the series.

I platinumed this game on PS5 and have been waiting for the PC version to come out so I can play it all again. Performance issues aside, this is one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. The story can be a little dry sometimes with its pacing but it's a masterpiece by the end. The combat is incredibly versatile and there's so much you can do with it. My only gripe is that the game is pretty easy with no options on difficulty outside of NG+. I think this is why a lot of people don't enjoy the combat as much. They're not required to experiment and play with the tools they're offered because playing in a very basic way is allowed by the enemies not putting up that much of a fight. When you do pay attention to every option you're given, it's a very enjoyable experience. Masayoshi Soken knocked it out of the park with the soundtrack as well.

This is not a dissidia game lmao. I only ever opened it to look at the cool graphics and hear the cool music. It's extremely disappointing because the PSP games are really damn good.

Battles range from making you feel crazy overpowered in a good way to extremely intense. If you so much as tolerate turn based combat and you haven't played this game yet then you're doing something wrong. Story and set pieces are incredible and the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard. The characters are equally likable and have super fun abilities.
