The best DLC from Rivet so far!
The route is highly detailed with awesome mountains and beautiful countryside. Even though the route is pretty short, it feels really long (up to almost 2 hours), because you are driving 30 km/h most of the time. Which is also kinda downside of this route, because the stations are pretty far apart and it gets boring pretty quickly. The mountain part is really interesting, even at low speeds, as you can fully enjoy those breathtaking views but some southern parts just seem a bit boring at those 30 km/h. You kinda have nothing to do, nothing to pay attention to, except for the vigilance system.
I would kinda expect that tourist towns such as Tirano would be crowded with pedestrians on the streets but no, there are no pedestrians outside the stations. Which is kinda a shame, considering you are going straight through the towns and it's absolutely dead there. At least you will occasionally spot some cars, but there could definitely be more. And also some forested hills with trees just don't look too good, as the trees are quite far apart and it slightly resembles Arosalinie.
The price is way too high, so I would highly suggest waiting for sale. However the train and scenery are really nice and detailed and the mountains look gorgeous, especially with snow, so if you like slow routes, you will definitely love this one! Just be prepared you might get bored pretty quickly.
