Great game, albeit short.

One thing I'd change is cutting the noises to most of the jumpscares. They feel loud and unnecessary, taking away from the immersion and make me more annoyed than afraid.

Aside from that, there's good voice acting and an interesting little world to immerse yourself in for a little while.

A good port of a good FInal Fantasy game. There are purists that may not like this remaster, and that's okay.

The game looks nice at any resolution, auto battling is always welcome for grinding levels, and the music is great as always. The map almost feels like cheating, but is optional to use, and is probably my biggest gripe.

Overall, I feel like I got what I paid for, and that's saying a lot with games in present day.

Probably the best "Fun with friends" Roguelike out there. You're given endless ways to challenge yourself with different gamemodes and difficulty modifiers, and dozens of ways to play with a variety of survivors that all have multiple ability loadouts.

Bored of the vanilla game? There's a great modding community. Add new difficulty settings, items, artifacts, enemies, and yes, new survivors.

Decent game on its own, but if you're like most, you'll get addicted to modding it, and proceed to play with mods more than the game itself.

An amazing alternative for people that aren't a fan of the modern WWE games and crave something new. You have what seems like limitless customization options, for both appearance and playstyle, and a workshop full of created wrestlers if you don't feel like creating your own. You can simulate your dream matches, or play your favorites made by other players.

An incredibly fun way to get your friends together and enjoy a silly evening. One complaint wouldn't be with the game itself, but the fact the store doesn't allow you to buy the Four Pack bundle if you already own the game.

Dead by Daylight is one of the most entertaining concepts of a video game I've ever experienced. When I was younger, playing the NES Friday the 13th game, I always wondered to myself how an actual game escaping slasher film killers would be like, and while this didn't necessarily hit the nail on the head of my childhood expectations, it sure as heck took what I pictured, and made it a multiplayer pvp/co-op experience that can be insanely fun on your own, or with friends.

While Dead by Daylight is insanely fun, it suffers from quite a few drawbacks, in my opinion.

First and foremost, it has its share of bugs and connectivity problems. One of the most notable bugs that should not be in a fully-released product is the issue where all of your progress can be lost. Nearly every single one of my friends who have played this game lost their progress. One even lost theirs twice. I think this is a demoralizing aspect that can make people feel very hesitant to invest hours in playing, seeing as there's a significant chance it can all be lost. The devs will refund you all of the blood points you lose if you contact them with this issue, and you can back up your save, but it is an ordeal shouldn't exist in the first place.

Aside from problems with the game itself, this game suffers from a huge divide in the community of people who mainly play survivor, and people who mainly play killer. Each side will claim the other has it better. Toxic survivor groups shouting at the killer player as if they've actually committed murder, and killer players who do attempt to ruin the fun for a player by taking advantage of aspects of the game, such as camping a hook. Nobody wants to play a game to lose control of the ability TO play the game, after all. At the end of the day I believe both sides have their own points and faults, and honestly I wish players would learn to have a little more fun, and a little less salt, or bad manners.

At the end of the day, Dead by Daylight is a game with several problems. However, if you can look past those problems, you can see the aspects of the game that are enjoyable. When Dead by Daylight is fun, it's FUN. Whether you enjoy the aspect of stealth, or the aspect of smacking people down who have eluded you before, you can honestly have a great time.

Divinity: Original Sin proved to me that first impressions aren't everything. I couldn't engage myself into the original game 3 years ago, but after watching some videos and finding a friend willing to play, I've sunk 80 hours into the game and I loved every moment of it. Between the amount of ways you can solve the challenges presented to you, to the interactions you may have with your partner, to the various ways you can build your character, this game offers so much that makes the experience as fulfilling as possible.

That being said, it isn't the perfect game. There are minor bugs here and there, in both game mechanics and on the ui.

Aside from those occasional gripes, if you have a friend that's interested, and you love a great RPG with several hours of quests and puzzles, then this is your game.

It's so real, it hurts.

I missed raiding for a while and haven't worked up the courage to do so in quite some time. Then I came across this gem yesterday.

I don't want to raid anymore.
