It's ok. Quite short at about 4+ hours to complete. The music gets very repetitive, as does the way "fast travel" takes you to a hub, not the place you want to be.

It's not a bad game by any means, but I think I was hoping for more.

Excellent story. It's brutal in the choices you have to make. Definitely worth it.

Enjoyed this. Believable characters, well voiced by the actors. The Fia character is particularly good, and I felt a strong sense of empathy towards her throughout all of the story events.

The main story is linear, without any branching or multiple endings, which I'm quite grateful for. The way the various threads are woven throughout the game was satisfying, and I am happy with the ending we got.

All in all, a fine example of Wadget Eye's work and well worth buying.

A companion oriented roadtrip type adventure with a strong narrative based story.

Great writing, art/animation, voicing and music. The voice cast is atrong, with great performances in all roles. Really enjoyed the protagonist and Phil in particular.

I have completed one playthrough at the time of writing this review, and I got an "ok" ending. The characters are compelling enough for me to want to "do better by them" and play through again with better choices.

This type of game is very up my street and it's an excellent example of the renaissance of point and click adventures. Would very much recommend to anyone who enjoys a good yarn.

Exceptional voice cast, well-written story and intriguing plot.

One of the best adventure games of the past few years.

A dark psychological horror in the form of a point and click. The story is engaging and it flows extremely well from point to point with very little backtracking. The built-in hint system is a really nice touch - gives you just enough of a push to get through if you get hung up on a particular puzzle.

I love the art style, it's extremely fitting with the story; disturbing without being "graphic". The voice acting is superb; with Abe Goldfarb doing a fantastic job as the lead character but they're all voiced and performed brilliantly.

All in all this is a fantastic release from Wormwood Studios. It's a definitely must for fans of point and click games, doubly so if you like psychological horror.

Disclaimer: I've been a fan of the Wadjet Eye Games for a while now, especially the Blackwell Series. This review is based on my first playthrough, which took just under 8 hours for me to complete.

If you've got even a passing interest in the Point & Click Adventure genre, you owe it to yourself to buy Unavowed and play it at least once. It takes the award winning formula of previous Wadjet Eye games and ups it several notches.

The story is intelligent magical/fantasy realism based in the Blackwell universe. The characters are interesting and the narrative provides you choices which are based on empathy; they feel as if they have weight and meaning.

The interface is musch simple than previous Wadjet Eye games - you have a single context sensitive action now rather than Look/Use in previous games.

Puzzles are relatively simple - there's a couple that don't quite telegraph well, but they're easily overlooked as the majority feel logical and pose enough of a challenge to justify them being there.

Some characters are more developed than others; with Eli and Logan being my favourites - Vicki felt the least interesting to me, but that could just be due to the choices I made.

If you enjoy Point & Click Adventure games, this is one of the finest out there. The writing, voice acting, art and music are all of an extremely high standard.

I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a strong character-driven narrative. If you've enjoyed previous Wadjet Eye games you should definitely pick this up, as it's their best work to date - which is saying a lot.
