I played about 30 hours in the server slam and am now 7 hours into the full game and, yeah, this is like crack. A really beautiful and fun game.

Perhaps the best Zachtronics programming game. TIS-100 is a close contender, but EXAPUNKS less constrained sandbox allows for more creativity in solving the puzzles.

The writing, art, and music really set the scene. Authentically nostalgic of the old hacker scene of the 90s.

Highly recommended, but note: You will probably only like this game if you enjoy programming for its own sake. Many of the problems would be straightforward to solve given any reasonable dev environment, but the tools you have at your disposal require you to exercise a lot of creative thought.

Very, very good single player campaign. The story is lightweight but compelling. There is a lot of variety in the level design. The gameplay is exceptionally polished and fun. This is a GREAT game.

This game was an amazing experience, to be sure, but *thankfully* they kind of drove it into the ground and I lost interest. I spent too much time on this game, and I do regret it.
