it runs so bad (20-30 fps) with 2060 on low settings with ultra performance DLSS. gameplay is good, and i think the battlefield atmosphere will improve over time. i have faith in the devs, definitely worth trying for this price

its my *kinda* first ever RTS and i can gladly say that im enjoying it so far. graphics, effects, sound design, overall visual quality are great, gameplay is fun (you can get bored of microing after a while though theres a lotta microing), and its quick to get a grasp on for beginners and the game takes a hardcore approach on historical accuracy. the campaign missions are great for learning the game and factions, after that you have the "dynamic conquest" mode which has its own issues but it gets regular updates and is fun overall, and you can play with bots with different gamemodes in the local multiplayer section. the mod support/workshop is slowly improvising, and there are many good mods which kinda bloat the game size which i'll get into later. imo the DLCs are non-essential, they add factions, units, maps etc. but you wont miss anything without them, just buy the game and if you like it you can get the DLCs later in sale or through unconventional ways

my only issue with this game is the optimization/performance, its very difficult to have stable 60 FPS or an overall smooth gameplay in this game (my rig is kinda decent). although it gets better each update

and i want to mention the game size too, the raw size is (no dlc no mods) 60-65 GBs, with DLCs it can get to 60-80 GB and the each workshop mod which adds decent content are at least are few gigs. i'd love to see a north african front as a dlc for this game, but im afraid one of the devs said priorly that it would bloat the game

tldr: f#ck coh, mow, whatever, this game is the top RTS in the market right now. worth buying during a sale

Pretty good, but the player counts doesn't look good as in 2025, remember that when buying. Contains solid teamwork and clean enough gunfights, but the game modes are limited and you die constantly to bombing runs and artillery fire due to the spamming of them. Good enough customizations. Overall nice WWI game, but probably would die in one year. Gallipoli when?
