I made a house in the game. Its an amazing house. I keep adding to it. Now its got a garden, and fences, and a front gate. Now its got a fireplace and a mantle piece. Now its got a wolfs head above the mantle piece. Now I cook meals on the fire and sit on my chair on my bearskin rug and stare into the fire. Then I get a well rested bonus. Then I eat three types of food and head out of my front door into the wilderness. Then I smack some annoying things on the head with my level 2 iron mace. They are annoying to me, but they drop loot. Loot which I can use to rekindle the many bronze torches adorning my home. Then I wander into the mountains. It gets cold. I drink my anti cold potion and venture further. Then I encounter some kind of giant stone creature. It hits me and takes half my health. Then I run, and fire arrows at it until its dead. It takes around 100 arrows. I was tired. My anti cold potion is wearing off, so I run home.

Dont know what all the people complaining about optimisations and poor performance are going on about. Apart from a couple of graphical glitches here and there the game runs smooth as butter. And i found patches on ModDB to fix the issues i have seen. I really enjoyed the first game, and this one really builds on that. Its still got some brutal hard elements, which make it even more fun when you need to calm yourself before certain battles or challenges, and really feels great when you win. Story seems solid, characters are great (if you are comfortable controlling a ginger haired Jedi). Loving this game, and cant wait to finish it. Think I may even try to 100% this one :)

The game follows this pattern:

1. Move around
2. Hear "DEA!" sound
3. Shout "DEA!"
4. Use the weapons available to reduce the enemy shouting "DEA!" to lumps of blood and gristle
5. Shout "DEA!" again for good measure
(Repeat)

I bought VR because of this game and halflife alyx. I would definitley recommend this game. It has the best feeling guns in a VR game in my opinion. Also I love how you can see your entire body in VR and it is simulated well. The only downside is that it occasiaonlly becomes frustrating when trying to climb objects, you can get stuck quite easily. But with such a detailed phyiscs simulation what can you expect?!

Great team & strategy based multiplayer FPS game. Pick your class and do your best to help your squad and team. It's not a game where you can expect crazy amounts of kills of end of game scoreboards, but more about teamwork. By far the best part of this game is the community; the game depends on communication, so when you get in with a communicative and organised squad it takes your immersion to a whole new level. Plus, aside from the "serious military shooter" aspect of the game, there are plenty of hilarious moments and ridiculous banter thrown in as well. I've played this for a long time now, and keep coming back for immersion, the regular content updates and new improvements but most of all, the community.

Lovely nostalgic feel to the whole thing. I especially enjoyed the installation / upgrade sequences. When these games came out, these were groundbreaking (as most DOS-based games just had a simple blue screen for installation) - so really pleased they kept these in :)

The perfect blend of nostalgia and insanely difficult and addictive often close quarters shooting. The composition of puzzle segments, exploration and shooting makes me think this is one of the most immersive games ever! You really feel like you are traversing a government complex overrun with military. Whats more; the source engine is old now so should run beautifully on most PCs. Lovely stuff.

Great little midget of a game. Controlling midgets never felt so fluid and ergonomic .
