good dlc

cool destination, great story to cap of 10 years. prismatic brings new build crafting options and exotics included in this dlc are all game changing and build defining.

i cannot in good faith recommend you buy this expansion.

the story is good but the game is buggy and excessively grindy. campaign has some new gimmicks but no real sustenance for the overall game. destination exclusive mechanics are nice but they don't fix darkness subclasses not having any new melee/super/grenade options. we are still playing the same builds but with 1 new weapon archetype (rocket pulse).

Gathering Wives is a open world exploration game of all time where you play as the Rover and gather many wives.

Pros:
1) great combat
2) kuro gives out a nice amount of pulls

Cons:
1) if you are a husband collector, they release husbands kind of slow compared to wives

Really fun, even more fun with friends.

Pre edge of fate: Recommend, while you cannot play through the whole light and dark saga, Witch Queen and Final Shape campaigns are very good. The old power system was simple to understand, you can sometimes get +5's and there were many sources to gain power.

Edge of fate: pretty bad, no playtesting, no fixes for bugs but fixes implemented to slow power grind (encore and grappler incident), slog power grind because past 450 it was prime rolling simulator at caldera. Raid has its own issues with bloated hp pools on contest that pretty much demanded loadout swapping when they were trying to not go in that direction during rite of the nine's notswap mechanic. Story is very good, but playing through the campaign and interacting with post campaign feels like a slog due to having to use the destination mechanics to traverse. IE: have to have and find destination mechanic matterweave or the portal cannon, you do get to go into matterspark once you beat campaign at anytime, which replaces your sparrow. to get to certain places.

Ash and Iron: its called ass and iron by the community for a good reason, but the power grinding got better in a mid season update.

Renegades: campaign feels too easy because most of the stuff isn't at legend difficulty during frontier activities, but fixes actually get pushed in a reasonable time. Frontiers is a fun activity as a mix between d2 and helldivers with good enough enemy density and hp to not feel like a pushover. Also the star wars collab felt very pushed on the first mission han solo in carbonite -> drifter being frozen in stasis, trash compactor (we already used this in presage), AT-AT -> Behemoths , but it does get better/more destiny later.

Will update again once the renegade dungeon comes out

TL:DR, game is in an okay state if you want to pick it up for the first time. returning players wise it is better now, but depends on why you dropped the game in the first place. i can soft recommend picking it up again, but if you're looking for something completely new, its just more destiny.

Orochi light spams too much, better NERF SHUGOKI
