Hey - sorry for the delay in this answer. When I first started playing Dear Esther, I had to stop and watch a couple of YouTube vids to figure out what the hell was going on. It's more of a story than a game. You just sort of wander around the island looking at cool things while you learn the story behind it. You don't even really interact with anything. People either love it or hate it. The graphics are awesome and the music is beautiful. I've played it through a few times to catch things I've missed. I would say wait for a sale, but I guess it depends on your taste. If you're in the mood to just chill out and go for a strange ride, it might be worth it. :)
