Bungie has destroyed their game. The community is unbelievably toxic and outright cruel. The game is a money pit and the only way to actually play and enjoy your time without being swarmed with/by text along the lines of, buy this DLC or get our new (insert product) is to buys. I have spent thousands on this, and thousands of hours inside this game, and can no longer stand by it.

The devs have historically said that they purposely develop and write mediocre content in order to lower expectations, and they just keep under handing the players, the people supporting them and keeping them afloat. They purposely create content droughts in order to manipulate the players into buying their new DLC or event so they can make even more money.

I remember back in 2017/2018 how events were free, free for everyone, so if you didn't have money you could play and still earn all the rewards. Now, its what, $5-$10 for an event pass that allows you to play the event in full!

Honestly, I don't blame the developers, its the money hungry studio. The players are toxic because Bungie "listens" to their players, while putting everything behind a pay wall. If you want sanity, and don't want content you paid for to be removed eventually, please, reconsider this game. It's price tag may say free, but the cost is more than money...
