Incredible. This game will be in lists compared to other metroidvania greats like Hollow Knight/Silksong, Ori series and 9 Sols etc. It instantly greets you with fantastic music which hooks you in and everything beyond that to the lore, art style and characters keeps you there.

The combat is a bit easier to the likes of Silksong but not being able to heal keeps it a fair challenge and some boss fights will still have you doing a dreaded runback. Some runbacks are atrocious (♥♥♥♥ that elevator) but most are relatively easy and don't frustrate you.

I wasn't instantly aware there would be a true ending but once doing it I didn't regret it.

Exploration is rewarding and the abilities are unique and does what metroids do best at giving you that "ohhh that's what I need to get to that place I saw earlier!" moment.

Overall an amazing game and for sure up there with my personal best metroidvanias.

Great fun with friends! Various mini games to play and plenty of raging to be had too! Devs are involved massively and their discord allows for suggestions for additions to costumes and mini games.

Decent game, fun at times and frustrating. At full price I would say you don't get your moneys worth. After 5 hours of playing I've completed the story, along with doing some arcade and stuff on the side.

I'll go through cons first.
Cons:
- The price. Triple A price tag, not a lot of content. The main villain isn't even a choosable character unless you have the dlc pass.
- Graphics. Graphics don't make a game, but they're not great in a game in 2017.
- Content. Not a lot of characters to choose from, some characters you'd expect to be in the game are dlc.
- Story. Kind of thought out, but short and generic.
- Fighting. It's basically who can spam X (not sure on keyboard equivalent) the fastest. A fair amount of combos but there's no need to bother with them because a fight is easily winnable without them.

Pros:
- Content. I know this was in the cons, but there's some other things to do other than campaign, but they're a bit tedious and repetitive and there isn't incentive for them at all.
- It's Marvel, and Capcom. I love marvel, I love the characters and it's awesome to see them in a fighting game. Same with Capcom, great characters. There just isn't enough of either of them.

That's about it, I'd give it about a 4.5/10.
It's fun for a bit. I'd wait for it to go on Sale or grab it on another seller.

I bought this when it was on sale but I wish I'd bought it sooner. It's an absolute masterpiece and I couldn't recommend it anymore. If you're looking for a game to play but just can't find one, this is it. Definitely a 10/10 and now on my top favourite games. And I haven't even finished it all yet.
