For the games themselves: They're the OG Tomb Raider games, albeit with the option to play'em with a (somewhat) fresh coat of paint. They perform smoothly with no bugs. Well... at least I didn't encounter any... so far...

Well, this game got teeth and great gameplay like in ye olde days and also teeth. It features a kick ass soundtrack and teeth.
Ah! And did I mention that it got teeth?

The game's a blast!
If you're into first person shooters, this is one that you wouldn't wanna miss out on.

Eigentlich stelle ich die meisten Spiele auf Englisch, da mir Deutsche Sprachausgabe in 99 von 100 Fällen die Pisse zum Kochen bringt. Und somit gehen armselige Lokalisierungen auch meistens an mir vorbei.

Nun wollte ich dieses Spiel mit ein paar Leuten spielen, denen das originale Englisch nicht so liegt, was zu einem Dämpfer im Spielspaß der Gruppe führen würde. Also stellte ich es vollständig auf Deutsch... Und mit welchem Horror wurde ich konfrontiert?!

Die Deutsche Schrift ist in verkackter Gendersprache geschrieben! Da diese Verunreinigung des Deutschen Schriftbilds auf keinen Fall zu unterstützen ist, gibt es hier einfach mal einen nach unten zeigenden Daumen.

An die blauhaarigen Spinner, die für diese Übersetzung verantwortlich sind: Schlaft beschissen!

if u're into feminist crap tho, this might be ur game...

the game itelf appears to be half way decent... but then again... it also feels like every other free to play crap game...

do urself a favour: stay away from it, or, if you really wanna check it out, at least, set the dialogue volume to zero... that way u don't need to hear those stupid wanna be gameshow hosts....

The best thing about this game is its music, which truly is awesome.

Gameplaywise the game couldn't be more underwhelming: Imagine shooting cardboard cutouts with pea shooters that barely hit their mark. Or try to blow 'em up with a rocket launcher that shoots projectiles that move almost as fast as a turtle on valium.

If you're looking for a good "boomer shooter" (as they call 'em these days) that uses 2D sprites instead of polygons for enemies, you should look somewhere else. CULTIC, SUPPLICE, ION FURY, PRODEUS just to name a few examples...

Stay away from this one or wait at least until it's on sale...

Time for an update, I suppose.

Game might be great, I dunno yet, just played one cycle so far.

Now, that I played a bit more, I can confirm that I personally like this game very much. To me, fast shooty mc bang bangs are always welcome, especially when they run that smooth and look that good.

However, my machine (I7-8700K, 16 Gigs of Ram, RTX 2080Ti), needs a bit of warm-up after a Windows reboot. But, after some starting stutters, the game runs great.

It still crashes in weird ways from time to time. Well, when I read something in its in game tutorials... o.O Maybe the game just needs to run like a rabbit on cocaine... Otherwise it bores itself to death, or something...
Aside from those the game runs without crashing. For now.

But it installs Epic Games Online Services and its overlay as soon as you start it the first time. Phock dat! Here: have a thumbs down until u get rid of that cancer.

Gameplay is okayish... nothing to write home about. It works, sure, but it is as inventive as using toilet paper after using the toilet. So gameplaywise it's nothing more than a big "whatever...".

Storywise it is one of those rainbow fantasies in that all the good guys are gay, bi or trans. Yaaay....
