This review might be a bit late, but what i was reminded of while listening to the soundtrack of this games years after its release (without spoiling too much) was that this game bridges/blends the atmosphere of classic 'igavania' castlevania with the one of metroid (3) in quite a cool fashion.

Story is okay-ish for what it's worth.
Has some twists and turns.
If i remember correctly the writing fell flat for me at times, but i don't think that's the main thing this piece of media has got going for it anyways.
It's one of the few indie-metroidvanias i'd say that has that secret sauce which manages to replicate the gameplay/gamefeel of the old konami-titles imo.

I'm interested to see what the developers manage to cook up with part 2 if it releases one day.

Gran metroidvania, es cortito a comparación de otros del mismo género, pero aún así es una joyita de juego.
Tiene buen worldbuilding, y una historia muy interesante.
La mayoría de bosses son fáciles hasta que llegas al endgame, donde ahí ya te tienes que aprender los patrones para que no te revienten (o llevar mucha curación).
La mecánica de parar el tiempo es muy buena pero yo no terminé por abusar tanto de ella, de lo que si abuse es del orbe del martillo que esta rotisimo.
La banda sonora es muy buena también, el tema de Pioneer's Horizon es mi favorito.

Recomendable si te gustan los metroidvania 100%, vale la pena probarlo.
